Official description of the call

First.- Beneficiaries. The recipients of this aid will be natural persons, fathers, mothers, foster guardians or anyone else who has guardianship of one or more minors enrolled in the second cycle of Early Childhood Education (EI), Primary Education (EP) and Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO), for the 2025/2026 academic year, in a public education center in Brión. In each family unit, only one of its members (father, mother, guardian or foster carer of the student) will have the status of beneficiary, and will be able to submit a single application that groups together as many aid as the number of minors enrolled in school who belong to said unit. Second.- Object. The purpose of this call is to grant financial aid to the families of students in the second cycle of Early Childhood Education (EI), Primary Education (EP) and Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO), to cover expenses related to schooling, understood as the acquisition of textbooks and complementary teaching materials. Third.- Regulatory bases. This call will be governed by the regulatory bases published in the BOP of A Coruña, number 127, dated 07/08/2026, as well as on the municipal website. Fourth.- Amount. For the financing of the aid regulated in this rule, there is credit in the amount of €10,000.00 in item 320.48900 of the general budget of the City Council for 2026. In no case may the sum of the aid granted exceed the amount established in said budget item. In general, the following amounts are established for aid: -. School supplies for the second cycle of early childhood education: €60.00 per aid. -. Textbooks and/or material for EP and ESO: €100.00 per aid. The total amount of aid to be granted may not exceed the maximum amount of the established budget. In the event that the amount of aid requested and with a proposed resolution for granting it is higher than said credit, the following measures will be applied consecutively, in the established order, until the amount of aid to be granted is adjusted to the existing credit: 1. Reduction by 20% of the amount of aid for applications with a per capita income equal to or greater than 60% of the IPREM. 2. Decrease by 15% of the total accumulated amount of applications that combine three or more grants. 3. Decrease by 15% of the total accumulated amount of applications that combine two grants. If even with the application of these measures, the available budget credit is exceeded, the amount obtained after their application will be prorated among all applications, so that the final amount of aid granted will suffer the same percentage decrease. Fifth.- Submission of applications. The application submission period will begin the day after the publication of the extract of the call, through the National Subsidies Database (BDNS), in the Official Gazette of the Province, and will end on August 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Brión July 13, 2026 The mayor.
