Official description of the call
First: Purpose The purpose of these rules is to regulate the granting of subsidies to finance music schools or students, the acquisition and repair of instruments, computer equipment and travel related to their activity. Second: Beneficiaries Musical societies with an established band that have a music school or students, are based in the city of Benidorm and registered in the register of cultural entities of the Benidorm City Council and in the Federation of Musical Societies of the Valencian Community may benefit from the aid. Third: Regulatory bases Specific bases included in the call and Law 38/2003 of November 17, General Subsidies, and its development provisions. Fourth: Subsidy Amount The subsidies for this call have an endowment of €45,000, with a maximum amount per beneficiary of €15,000 Fifth: Documentation and submission deadline. The documentation to be presented will be: a) Date of founding of the music school or students. b) Certificate from the Secretary with the VºBº of the President of the society on the nominal list of students enrolled in the 2023/2024 academic year, total number of students enrolled and total number of members of the band, signed and sealed by the federation of musical societies of the Valencian Community. c) Enumeration of the teacher or teachers, indicating name and subjects taught. d) Certification issued by the Secretary of the society, with the VºBº of the President, indicating the budget of expenses and income linked to the School of Music or Students referring to 2023. e) Model of responsible declaration (Annex II) in which the commitment of the musical society to carry out between 5 and 8 performances in the Municipality, in the place and date indicated by the Department of Culture, depending on the amount of the subsidy received. f) Certificate of being up to date with tax and Social Security obligations. The submission period will be one month from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the BOP of Alicante.
