Official description of the call

Extract from the agreement of the Regional Government Board of the Alt Camp Regional Council of April 24, 2024, which approves the public call for the granting of financial aid for expenses linked to the compulsory schooling of children and young people residing in the municipalities of the Alt Camp region, excluding Valls who are in a disadvantaged socioeconomic situation and are studying Early Childhood Education levels, Primary and ESO, for the 2024/2025 academic year. BeneficiariesPersons registered in the Alt Camp region, excluding Valls, who have children enrolled in preschool, primary and ESO levels and who prove they have an active Work Plan with basic social services from the Alto Campo Regional Council due to finding themselves in a situation of social need. Second. ObjectExpenses linked to compulsory schooling: books and consumable school supplies, compulsory school sports equipment, school gowns, excursions and school cultural outings. Third. Specific regulatory basesThe bases that govern the management of financial aid linked to compulsory schooling approved by the Regional Government Board in the ordinary session of May 24, 2017 and published in BOPT number 110, of June 8, 2017. Fourth. Maximum amount of aid. The maximum amounts of aid linked to schooling for the 2024/2025 academic year are as follows: Early childhood education €155.00 Primary education €200.00 Secondary education €250.00 Fifth. Criteria for granting aid: 5.1 ECONOMIC VALUATION To carry out the economic valuation, the Income Sufficiency Indicator of Catalonia (IRSC) in force at the time of submission of the application will be taken as a reference. To obtain the economic limit according to the members of the economic unit of coexistence, the following formula must be used: IRSC x 1.3 x 0.5 for each member of the family unit The economic unit of cohabitation is understood to be the one formed by the beneficiary with his or her spouse or common-law partner and family members up to the second degree of consanguinity who live together in the same home. The net income of the economic unit of cohabitation is obtained from the sum of the income received during the six months prior to the date of application by the entire economic unit of cohabitation. The following income will be computed: Income from self-employment of others Benefits and losses from self-employment Social benefits Transfers received for different concepts The score to be obtained according to income is established from the following table: Income less than 50% of the maximum income: 50 points Between 50 and 75% of the maximum income: 35 points Between 75 and 100% of the maximum income: 20 points 5.2 SOCIAL VALUATION Social valuation will come determined based on the work plan followed:Vulnerable work plan 30 pointsRisk work plan 40 pointsHigh risk work plan 50 points WORK PLAN BY Vulnerability situation: Files in which all the people who are part of it suffer a situation, temporarily or chronically, of need that does not entail a risk to their safety or basic well-being. The diagnosis of vulnerability is the result of the subjective assessment of the professional or the application of the methodology adopted by the BASIC SOCIAL SERVICES of the local entity or the use of external scales or assessment systems (dependency scale, childhood risk indicators, etc.). WORK PLAN DUE TO RISK SITUATION: Files in which at least one of the people taking part suffers from a situation, temporarily or chronically, of social need that entails a risk to their safety or basic well-being. The risk diagnosis may be the result of the subjective assessment of the professional or the application of the methodology adopted by the BASIC SOCIAL SERVICES of the local entity or the use of external scales or assessment systems (dependency scale, childhood risk indicators, etc.).
