Official description of the call
Beneficiaries, requirements: -Be of legal age at the time of submitting the application and not be more than 30 years old. -Be registered in Zarautz at least one year prior to the date of submission of the application, and not have an employment relationship with an ONGD. -People who are not registered in Zarautz and who are going to collaborate in a cooperation project that has been financed by the Zarautz City Council may also participate in this program. -Have a commitment to collaboration, a letter or a guarantee signed by an ONGD. -They must take into account that the situations, conditions and needs of men and women are different and depending on this, they must integrate the gender perspective into the program or activity eligible for subsidy. -Provide training in development cooperation or volunteering or, failing that, present pre-registration for a course taught by some entity. -Have an accident and illness policy during your stay and take the necessary vaccines and medications to travel to the destination country. -You must complete a minimum season of 30 days in the cooperation project. Purpose: Regulate the granting of subsidies through a competitive bidding procedure to young cooperators. This is a tool to raise awareness among the citizens of Zarautz about development cooperation actions in disadvantaged countries and contribute to fostering a culture of solidarity in the town. To this end, the selected people will participate directly in development cooperation actions in these countries through an NGDO. Amount: €3,000 Deadline for submitting applications: one month counting from the day following the publication of this call in the Official Gazette of Gipuzkoa.
