The line of scholarships to carry out vocational training studies, academic year 2024/2025

Official description of the call

FIRST. PURPOSE This call is aimed at granting, on a competitive basis, scholarships to pursue vocational training studies in person during the 2024/2025 academic year. The scholarship modalities are as follows: A.-GENERAL VOCATIONAL TRAINING STUDIES: for the completion outside of Tenerife of Intermediate (GFGM) or Higher Degree (CFGS) studies, or specialization in said studies carried out in vocational training centers or equivalent. B.-TRAINING PRACTICES: for carrying out training practices in work centers (FCT) outside Tenerife. C.-COMPLEMENT TO THE ERASMUS+ PROGRAM: to complement the aid received for participation in said European mobility program. SECOND. BENEFICIARIES It is aimed at people residing in Tenerife who carry out vocational training studies, as well as training practices, outside the island, or participate in the Erasmus+ program to carry out studies of this nature. THIRD. REGULATORY BASES Approved by agreement of the Island Government Council of the Island Council of Tenerife in an ordinary session held on May 29, 2024 (AC0000021689). ROOM. BAREMATION CRITERIA The family economic situation of the beneficiary will be taken into account. FIFTH. AMOUNT The amount approved for this call amounts to two hundred and fifty thousand euros (€250,000.00), which may be increased up to a maximum total amount of five hundred thousand euros (€500,000.00). The maximum individual amount of the scholarship depends on each modality and is broken down as follows: General vocational training studies: six thousand five hundred euros (€6,500.00). Training internships: six thousand five hundred euros (€6,500.00). Complement to the “Erasmus+” program: two thousand euros (€2,0000.00). SIXTH. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS The deadline for the submission of applications will begin from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and will end on October 31, 2023, inclusive. The processing will be exclusively electronic. SEVENTH. OTHER INFORMATION The application will be formalized according to the official model prepared by the Island Council of Tenerife and must be accompanied by the documents indicated in the list of documentation contemplated in the bases and reproduced in the call.
