RESOLUTION OF 6/6/2024 OF THE ASTURIAN SCIENCE, BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS AND INNOVATION AGENCY APPROVING THE CALL FOR GRANTS FOR THE EXECUTION OF ACTION PLANS FOR BUSINESS R&D&I CENTERS 2024 (RSI3 COMPANY PROGRAM)

Official description of the call

First.- Beneficiaries. The beneficiaries of this call will be the business R&D&i centers. Business R&D&i centers will be understood as those companies with their own legal personality whose main corporate purpose is the development of R&D&i activities aimed at satisfying the needs of a business group. The business R&D&I centers that benefit from this aid must be part of business groups that must have the category of large company in accordance with the provisions of Annex I to Commission Regulation (EU) No. 651/2014. Communities of property, civil societies, associations, foundations, public administrations and, in general, non-profit entities are excluded. Second.- Object. The purpose of this call is to grant subsidies by the Agency, on a competitive basis, to business R&D&I centers located in the Principality of Asturias, so that they can execute their R&D&I action plans, which, by improving the competitiveness of the business group to which they belong, also act as a driving element of the regional economy. Third.- Regulatory bases. Resolution of June 5, 2017, of the Ministry of Employment, Industry and Tourism (BOPA no. 136, of June 14, 2017 (publication correction in BOPA no. 140 of June 19, 2017) and rectified by Resolutions of March 9, 2018 and July 26, 2018, of the Ministry of Employment, Industry and Tourism (BOPA nº 64, of 17-III-2018 and nº 178 of 1-VIII-2018). Resolution of the President of the Agency dated May 22, 2024, of which ONE MILLION FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND EUROS (€1,500,000.00) is charged to the Agency's 2024 budget and another TWO MILLION EUROS (€2,000,000.00) is charged to the Agency's 2025 budget, the granting of which is conditional on the existence of adequate credit and sufficient at the time the Agency's budget for said year is approved. The financing comes from the Agency's own budget and the aid may be co-financed by the European Union through the ERDF. Exceptionally, an additional amount may be set for a maximum amount of THREE MILLION EUROS (3,000,000.00 euros). this fiscal year 2024, will be from the calendar day following the publication of the extract of this call in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias, until 2:00 p.m. on July 15, 2024, peninsular time in Spain.
