EXTRACT RULES AND CALL FOR AID FOR THE ACQUISITION OF TEXTBOOKS AND SCHOOL MATERIALS FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR 1.- Purpose of the Call. The purpose of this call is to establish the bases that must govern the granting of financial aid by the Toral de los Vados City Council for the acquisition of textbooks and school supplies for the 2024-2025 school year. If school books have been subsidized or have been acquired through book banks, aid for school supplies may be requested. 2.- Applicable Regime. The aid will be granted on a competitive basis and will have the character of a subsidy, so it will be governed by these bases, by the General Subsidy Law Law 38/2003 of November 17 and by Royal Decree 887/2006 of July 21, Regulation of the Subsidies Law. 3.- Beneficiaries of the aid. A a) Beneficiaries of this aid are all people registered in the Municipality of Toral de los Vados who are studying in the 2024-2025 school year the cycles of Early Childhood, Primary or Secondary Education up to the second year of ESO in one of the centers located in Toral de los Vados and third and fourth years of ESO that, since they are not taught in the center of Toral de los Vados, are taken in the center associated with Toral de los Vados. Vados, which is located in Villafranca del Bierzo, this requirement must be met at the time of the application. b) Beneficiaries of the aid from 3rd grade of primary school at the end of the school year must leave the books acquired with the subsidy in the school's Book Bank 4.- Recipients of the aid. The father, mother or legal guardian of students enrolled in any of the cycles of Early Childhood, Primary or Secondary Education up to the second year of ESO in one of the centers located in Toral de los Vados and third and fourth year of ESO who are enrolled in the center associated with Toral de los Vados, which is the center of Villafranca del Bierzo, may request these aids: - They must be registered in the Municipality of Toral de los Vados. Vados at the time of the application and the children enrolled in the Toral de los Vados school or in the case of 3 and 4 ESO in the Villafranca del Bierzo center for the 2024-2025 academic year - That the total income received does not exceed two and a half times the IPREM (14 payments), 21,000.00 Euros. 5.- Amount of aid. - The budgetary credit available for the granting of all aid will be a maximum of €2,000.00. - Financial aid will be granted for each student in the family unit depending on the level of education, being €75 for preschool, €100 for primary school and €150 for secondary school, and if the credit is not exhausted, a second aid will be granted to the family unit in the manner provided for in section 8.1 of these rules. 6.- Model, Publication, Place and Deadline for submitting applications. –Model: They will be presented in the model established by the City Council. (Annex I of the call) - Place: Applications will be submitted to the General Registry of the Toral de los Vados City Council from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday to Friday. - Deadline: Applications will be submitted from the day following the publication of these rules in the Bulletin of the Province of León and until September 27, 2024 - Publication: The Rules and the application model will be published in the Official Gazette of the Province of León, on the notice board of the City Council, on the City Council's website and in the National Subsidies Database (BDNS) 7.- Payment of Aid. The payment of the aid to each beneficiary will be made effective by bank transfer to the account number presented with the application. 8.- Justification of Aid. - The justification is understood to be made with the presentation of the invoice for the acquisition of textbooks and/or school supplies. - The amount of the invoice/s must be equal to or greater than the amount of the subsidy; if it is lower, the amount of the invoice/s presented will be paid.
