Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. Those associations, clubs or non-profit sports entities that are legally constituted and that meet the following requirements may be beneficiaries of the subsidies included in this call: 1.- That they have their headquarters in the Municipality of El Sauzal or that the development of their sports activity benefits the residents of this municipality of El Sauzal. 2.- They prove to be registered in the Municipal Registry of El Sauzal of Entities and Associations. 3.- That they have justified the subsidies that, where appropriate, the El Sauzal City Council has granted them in the 2023 year. 4.- Be federated in their corresponding sports modality 5.- Be registered in one of the official competitions according to their sports modality, season 2024/2025 6.- That they are up to date with their tax obligations with the State and Regional Treasury, Social Security and with the El Sauzal City Council 7.-That it is not subject to any of the prohibitions established in article 13.2 of the General Law of Subsidies. The beneficiaries of this subsidy have the obligations generally established for all beneficiaries of public subsidies in article 14 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. Having obtained a subsidy in previous years will in no case generate the right to obtain subsidies in the current year; It cannot be claimed as a precedent and its increase and revision will not be required. The submission of applications implies the express and unconditional acceptance of the aforementioned bases and this call, and of the conditions, requirements and obligations contained therein. Second. Object. The purpose of this call is to develop the rules that must govern the granting of aid, through the competitive competition system, intended to defray the payment of federative license expenses for the 2024/2025 season of clubs and associations and non-profit sports entities participating in official sports events and competitions of an insular, regional, national and international nature, and that meet the requirements to be beneficiaries, with the aim of encouraging and promoting the practice of sports in the municipality of El Sauzal and its participation in official competitions. Individual athletes are excluded from this call. Third. Regulatory bases. The regulatory bases of this subsidy are contained in the General Subsidies Ordinance of the El Sauzal City Council, whose final approval has been published in the BOP of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, number 47, Wednesday, April 17, 2024. The rules that govern this call comply with the principles, purposes and objectives established in Line 2 of the 2024 Strategic Subsidies Plan. These bases are available for consultation on the website municipal, in the ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURES – AID AND SUBSIDIES section, accessible from the web address https://www.elsauzal.es/administracion/ayudas-y-subvenciones/ Fourth: Amount. The credit of this call amounts to a total amount of €18,800.00, which will be charged to the budget application 2024.3410.4891500 (2.24.0.02862). The amount of the subsidy will be set by the evaluation commission that has been established for this purpose in accordance with the evaluation criteria established in point X of this call. The City Council's contribution may not exceed the total cost of the subsidized activity in accordance with the budget presented by the requesting entity in its application and as long as it meets the requirements to be a beneficiary. In no case may the available credit allocated in the budget be exceeded. Fifth. Deadline and Place for Submission of Applications. A) Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for submitting applications is 10 business DAYS from the day following the day on which the extract of the call takes place in the BOP of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. B) Form and place of presentation: The applications, accompanied by the required documentation, will be presented duly signed by the legal representative of the club association, sports entity through the electronic headquarters of the El Sauzal City Council (https://elsauzal.sedelectronica.es), according to a standardized model.
