GC EARLY CALL FOR SUBSIDIES FOR THE YEAR 2025 FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF THE PRIMARY SECTOR, FOOD SOVEREIGNTY AND WATER SECURITY FOR THE CONTROL OF THE TUTA ABSOLUTA IN TOMATO CULTIVATION IN GRAN CANARIA FOR THE 2024-2025 HARVEST.

Official description of the call

By Agreement of the Island Government Council, held in ordinary session, on November 18, 2024, the “Advance call for subsidies for the year 2025 of the Ministry of Primary Sector, Food Sovereignty and Water Security of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria for the control of the Tuta Absoluta in the cultivation of tomatoes in Gran Canaria for the harvest was approved. 2024-2025” Against the aforementioned Resolution, an APPEAL FOR REPLACEMENT may be filed optionally and within a period of one month from the day following its publication before the Island Government Council - whose resolution would put an end to the administrative route -, in accordance with arts. 114, 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations; or in case of not making use of said power, ADMINISTRATIVE CONTENTIOUS APPEAL before the Administrative Litigation Court of this City, within a period of TWO MONTHS counting from the day following receipt of the notification, in accordance with art. 46 of Law 29/98, of July 13, on the Contentious Administrative Jurisdiction. In the case of Public Administrations, instead of the indicated Administrative Appeal referred to in the previous paragraph, they may formulate, before the same Body indicated above and within a period of TWO (2) MONTHS, the Prior Request referred to in article 44 of the current Law of the Contentious-Administrative Jurisdiction, and failing that, within the same period, directly file a Contentious-Administrative Appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Court of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. - Recipient: The Organizations of Fruit and Vegetable Producers, hereinafter OPFH, and the associative entities of tomato producers in Gran Canaria that meet the requirements established in the Bases of the call may access the status of beneficiaries of this subsidy. - Purpose: The purpose of this call is to regulate the procedure for granting subsidies under a non-competitive competition regime to associative entities in Gran Canaria that market tomatoes both for the local market and outside the territorial scope of the Canary Islands. - Regulatory Bases: General Ordinance of Subsidies of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria. - Amount: 300,000.00 euros. - Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for submitting applications will be TWENTY (20) BUSINESS DAYS, counted from the day following the day on which the extract of this call is published in the BOP Las Palmas. - Information regarding the regulatory bases can be consulted on the website: www.grancanaria.com www.pap.hacienda.gob.es/bdnstrans/index
