Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: Any person may apply for this award, without distinction of nationality, as long as they were not a winner in the previous edition. Second. Purpose: Award for original theatrical works written in the Asturian language and that can be performed with a duration between 50 and 90 minutes. A single theatrical text or a set of short pieces may be presented. Texts that are adaptations, versions or rereadings of other published or publicly exhibited texts will not be eligible for the prize. Third. Regulatory bases: Resolution of the defunct Ministry of Culture, Language Policy and Tourism of April 25, 2023 (BOPA of May 8, 2023) by which the regulatory bases of the "Pachín de Melás" Award for Theater Texts in the Asturian language were approved. Room. Amount: 6,000.00 euros Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications: Thirty calendar days counting from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias. Sixth. Other information of interest -In the electronic headquarters of the Principality of Asturias (https://sede.asturias.es) the Service Sheet is published, which can be located by entering the code PREM0030T01 in the header search engine (located in the upper right part of the page) in which you will find the full text of the Resolution, complementary information, the standard application form and the possibility of starting the application electronically. -The applications will be accompanied by two sealed envelopes whose front will contain ENVELOPE A or ENVELOPE B, as appropriate, III "Pachín de Melás" Prize for Theatrical Texts in the Asturian language, the title of the work and the pseudonym of the person holding the authorship of the work. Each of the envelopes will contain the following documentation: ENVELOPE A will contain the author's information (address, telephone number and a brief resume and responsible declaration); ENVELOPE B will include five copies of the text in paper format and a file of the work in digital format. -The Ministry of Culture, Language Policy and Sports reserves the right to exclusively publish the first edition of the award-winning work and the co-production of the play with a professional theater company, considering the copyright of the first edition to be remunerated with the award.
