Call for the "Barjola Museum Prize" for plastic arts in its ninth edition

Official description of the call

First.- Beneficiaries. All Asturian plastic artists or artists residing in the Principality of Asturias may compete for this award. The name "plastic artist" is not necessarily identified with a natural person, but can refer to a group of people who present their project collectively, although in the latter case a representative must be designated. Second.- Purpose. The purpose of this call is to award the plastic arts prize called the "Barjola Museum Prize" in its ninth edition, intended for the realization of an exhibition project specially created for the Trinidad Chapel of the Barjola Museum, located at Calle Trinidad, 17, in Gijón/Xixón. Third.- Regulatory bases. Resolution of May 5, 2017, of the Ministry of Education and Culture, which approves the regulatory bases of the "Barjola Museum Award" (BOPA No. 110 of May 15, 2017). Fourth.- Amount. The Prize will have a prize of SIX THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED EUROS (€6,200.00) and may be declared void if, in the opinion of the Jury, the quality of the works presented so advises. Fifth.- Submission of applications. The deadline for submitting applications will be two months from the day following the publication of the Extract of this call in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias. The requests will be addressed to the head of the Ministry responsible for cultural matters and will be presented in accordance with the provisions of article 16 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. If, in exercise of this right, the file is sent by mail, it must be presented in an open envelope so that the request is dated and sealed by postal personnel before it is certified. Applications may be submitted using the form available on the electronic headquarters of the Principality of Asturias www.asturias.es, a portal on which the service sheet is published and can be located by entering the code PREM0018T01 in the header search engine (located at the top right of the page) where you will also find the full text of the Call Resolution, the regulatory bases and complementary information. The application must necessarily be accompanied by the following documentation in paper and digital format (USB, CD or DVD): a), Photocopy of the DNI, NIF or passport or authorization to the examining body to obtain the certificates from the Ministry responsible for the Interior to accredit such condition on the date of submission of the application (authorization incorporated into the application form). b),In case of joint submission, responsible declaration that the person submitting the application is the representative of the group or team (incorporated into the application form). c),,Proof of residence of the applicant(s), if applicable, of at least one year of experience in the Principality of Asturias on the date of publication of the extract in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias (certificate of registration), or authorization for consultation with the National Institute of Statistics (incorporated into the application form). d), Curriculum vitae, indicating studies, professional activities, exhibitions, awards, scholarships, publications, etc. of the applicant(s). e),,Graphic documentation of recent work (minimum of 5 color photographs). f),,Project report, specifying its objective, action plan (development phases, execution time), indicative budget, and the graphic documentation necessary to explain the project in the most visual way possible. g), Prove that you are up to date with your tax and Social Security obligations or authorize the instructing body to collect the aforementioned data from the competent bodies, as well as a responsible declaration of having complied with the obligations derived from aid and subsidies previously granted by any of the bodies of the Administration of the Principality of Asturias (both incorporated into the application form). h), Responsible declaration of not being subject to the prohibitions to obtain the status of beneficiary, provided for in art. 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies (incorporated into the application form).
