Official description of the call

ANNOUNCEMENT 1. Purpose of the subsidy On December 1, 2022, the Plenary Session of the City Council initially approved the modification of the general and specific regulatory bases for the subsidies of the Azkoitia City Council. After the legal period for public information had elapsed without complaints or observations having been presented, the modification of the general and specific regulatory bases of the subsidies of the Azkoitia City Council was definitively approved (Official Gazette of Gipuzkoa, hereinafter BOG no. 54, of March 20, 2023). One of the objectives of these bases is to regulate the call for the granting of financial aid to Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) for the development of the programs indicated below: — Programs aimed at improving the social, economic and cultural conditions of the population in developing countries. — Actions aimed at promoting the interest of the population of Azkoitia regarding the reality of these countries and the causes that give rise to this situation. 2. Amount of the subsidy The amount assigned for the subsidies covered by this program amounts to 60,000.00 euros and will be financed from budget item 1.4000.481.230.20.01 3. Requirements to apply for the subsidy. Legally constituted, non-profit Non-Governmental Organizations or Institutions, whose activities coincide with the purpose of this call, that are registered in the Basque Autonomous Community or Navarra and that have their headquarters, a delegation or a permanent administrative structure in Azkoitia or Urola, may apply for a subsidy. Institutions dependent on the State, the Autonomous Administration, the Provincial Council and savings entities are excluded from this call. Each participating NGO may present a single project for each modality of action (one for awareness-raising and one for cooperation). For the applicant organization, institution or association to have access to the subsidies of this call, it must meet the following conditions: a) Be a legally constituted Non-Governmental Organization or Institution, non-profit and not dependent on the State, the Autonomous Administration, the Provincial Council or savings entities; Likewise, that its activities coincide with the purpose of this call and, finally, that it has its registered office, a delegation or a permanent administrative structure in Azkoitia or Urola. b) Having experience in cooperation and development actions will be valued. In order to prove it, the actions carried out during previous years will be indicated, as well as the subsidies received. c) Have the capacity to carry out the subsidized actions. Organizations must indicate, following the model on the form: — Data regarding the NGO. — The relationship they maintain with the local counterpart of the developing country. 4. When and where to submit applications The application forms will be completed correctly and submitted in any of the ways provided for in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, through the online procedures section of the Azkoitia City Council website (https://azkoitia.eus/udala/tramiteak). The deadline for submitting applications ends on September 30, 2025, counted from the day following the publication of these bases in the Official Gazette of Gipuzkoa. 5. Documentation to be submitted The entities will submit the aid application on the application form mentioned in this call, which will be provided to all interested persons both in the Citizen Service and on the municipal website (www.azkoitia.eus). In addition, they will have to submit, along with the application, the annex form mentioned in the call, which will be provided to all interested persons both in the Citizen Service and on the municipal website (www.azkoitia.eus). 5.1. Documentation to present: — Application form, duly completed and signed. — Sworn statement stating, if applicable, the existence of other subsidy requests made to other departments, institutions, etc. and, where applicable, the subsidies received. — Document issued by a banking or savings entity,
