Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: All non-professional writers residing in the Autonomous Community of Aragon, who are not involved in any of the causes established in art. 13.2 of Law 38/2003 of November 17, general on subsidies, according to the category they opt for: Youth category: from 14 to 17 years old Adult category: from 18 years old Second. Purpose: The 11th Comarca del Bajo Cinca/Baix Cinca Literary Contest is the object of this regular call for the promotion of artistic and literary creations, as well as supporting new cultural initiatives by amateurs. Third. Regulatory Bases General Ordinance approving the Regulatory Bases for the granting of subsidies by the Bajo Cinca/Baix Cinca Region, published in BOPH No. 39 dated March 1, 2021. Fourth. Amount: This call is funded from the budget application for fiscal year 2025 3340.48002. With the following prizes: Youth Category 1st prize: €250 2nd prize: €200 3rd prize: €150 Regional prize: €100 Adult category: 1st prize: €450 2nd prize: €300 3rd prize: €200 Regional prize: €150 Prizes exceeding €300 are subject to a 19% personal income tax withholding. Fifth. Deadline for submission of applications: The deadline for admission of originals will end on October 17, 2025. The originals will be addressed to the president of the Bajo Cinca/Baix Cinca Region and will be presented in the places and manner indicated in art. 6.8 of the General Ordinance of the Regulatory Bases of Subsidies. Sixth. Other information: The award ceremony will take place at a literary event whose date and place will be announced in due course, and it is essential that the winners attend to collect the award.
