Subsidies, for carrying out cultural activities and projects during the year 2025

Official description of the call

First. Object and legal regime. 1. The resolution aims to approve a call for subsidies, under a competitive competition regime, for the implementation of cultural activities and projects in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria between January 1 and December 31, 2025. 2. In accordance with article 1.1. of Order UIC/21/2021, of April 28, the following subsidy modalities are established: A. Professionals and Companies: Aid for the promotion and dissemination of the plastic arts, intended for creators and curators. B. Professionals and Companies: Aid to cultural spaces dedicated to the performing arts and film projection, as well as cultural spaces dedicated to the exhibition of plastic arts. C. Professionals and Companies: Aid for the organization of fairs, festivals and other similar cultural events. D. Local Entities of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria: Aid for carrying out cultural activities. E. Private Associations and Foundations: Aid for carrying out cultural activities. 3. In modalities A, C, D and E, each interested party may request aid for a maximum of two projects, and must submit an individualized application for each of them. If more than two applications are made, the last two will be considered validly submitted. In modality B, only one aid application can be submitted for each cultural space. 4. This call will be governed by Order UIC/21/2021, of April 28, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies under competitive competition for the implementation of cultural activities and projects (BOC no. 87, of May 7, 2021), modified by Order UIC/39/2021, of December 1 (BOC no. 238, of December 14, 2021). 5. The receipt of this subsidy is compatible with the receipt of other subsidies, aid, income or resources for the same purpose, from public or private organizations, without the total amount of aid received exceeding the cost of the subsidized activity, in accordance with the limitations established in article 18 of the Cantabria Law 10/2006, of July 17, and without the aid received by the beneficiary, in the case of business entities, in the three recent fiscal years may exceed 300,000 euros, as established by the applicable community regulations (Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/2831, of December 13, 2023, relating to the application of articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union to de minimis aid). 6. All notifications to be made to interested parties during the investigation and resolution phases of this call will be made through the electronic notice board of the electronic headquarters of the Government of Cantabria https://sede.cantabria.es/sede/tablon-electronico-de-anuncios These publications will replace individual notifications with the same effects, by application of what is established in article 45 of Law 39/2015, of October 1. Additionally, the acts of instruction and resolution of the call will be published on the website www.culturadecantabria.com Second. Beneficiaries. Individuals (individual entrepreneurs) and private legal entities with corporate form that have their tax domicile in Cantabria may be beneficiaries of subsidies in modalities A, B and C, aimed at Professionals and Companies; that are registered with the Economic Activities Tax (I.A.E.) in the sector of activity related to those that are subject to subsidy; that carry out the eligible activity in Cantabria, without prejudice to the possibility that they may carry out any activity outside the Autonomous Community; and that they meet the rest of the requirements established in the regulatory bases and in this call for the corresponding modality. Modality A (Aid for the promotion and dissemination of the plastic arts): artistic creators may be beneficiaries, for the production of works of art and development of artistic projects that are going to be presented or developed in appropriate cultural spaces; and the artistic curators, for the development and organization of cultural projects of an innovative nature, which aim to stimulate and publicize the plastic arts and which provide a
