Official description of the call

FIRST. – BENEFICIARIES 1.- Individuals of legal age or emancipated minors, of any nationality and, where appropriate, those members of the family or cohabitation unit who are in any of the social emergency situations provided for in these bases may be recipients of this benefit, provided that they meet the following requirements: a.- Be up to date with payments with the local Treasury. The requirements to obtain the status of beneficiary must be met at the time of submitting the application, so if they do not meet them, they should previously request the division or postponement as the case may be and attach the application for division. The granting of these subsidies is carried out on a competitive basis until the existing credit for this purpose is exhausted, with the maximum limits proposed. This is a benefit aimed at temporarily meeting the coverage of basic needs in situations of energy poverty, both for unforeseen reasons and for the continued lack of resources, of those natural persons who cannot meet specific expenses, considered necessary to prevent, avoid or alleviate situations of social exclusion and which cannot be covered by their means, nor from other social resources, nor at that time through the help of legally obligated third parties, assuming, however, the commitment to request said help. On the other hand, and in accordance with the applicable regulations, those families that are not up to date with their payments to the local treasury must pay the outstanding debt or request a payment plan in installments as a requirement to access this aid. ENERGY POVERTY: The subsidy is intended to cover specific expenses derived from any of the following basic subsistence needs, produced in the period between July 1, 2024 and June 30, 2025.
