Extract from the Call and Specific Bases approved by Agreement of the Government Board, in a session held on July 4, 2025, for the granting of subsidies, under a competitive competition regime, to City Councils with a population of less than 20,000 inhabitants in the province of León and Neighborhood Councils for the opening of Tourist Information Offices in the province of León, years 2025, 2026 and 2027. The Town Councils and Neighborhood Councils with a population of less than 20,000 inhabitants in the province of León that reach a minimum of 13 points, in accordance with the criteria established in the fourth base, provided that the activity for which the subsidy is requested is the provision of staff for the opening of the Tourist Information Offices, taking into account that each beneficiary will only be able to obtain aid for the hiring of personnel for the office. The Town Councils and Neighborhood Associations that have been beneficiaries in the call for the Occupability Plan of the Tourism Service that is previously approved may not be beneficiaries of this aid. The beneficiaries, in any case, must comply with the obligations established in the fifth base of those that regulate the call. Second.- Purpose. The purpose of this call is to grant subsidies on a competitive basis to City Councils and Neighborhood Councils with a population of less than 20,000 inhabitants in the province of León, with the aim of financing the hiring of personnel for the opening of Tourist Information Offices in each beneficiary City Council and Neighborhood Council, during the years 2025, 2026 and 2027, in order to seek to increase tourist activity and provide the province of León with a network. of tourist offices that provide a quality tourist information and advice service, with adequate functioning and with an image that is as homogeneous as possible. Third.- Regulatory regulations. The subsidies object of this Call in accordance with the provisions of art. 2.5 of RD 887/2006, of July 21, which approves the Regulation of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, will be governed, in addition to the provisions of these Bases, by the provisions of the General Regulatory Bases for the granting of subsidies under competitive competition of the Provincial Council of León, approved by agreement of the Plenary of 27 of February 2008 and published in the Official Gazette of the Province No. 45/2008, of March 5 (hereinafter BGS). Likewise, the provisions of the General Subsidies Ordinance (hereinafter OGS) will be complied with, in its wording given by plenary agreement of July 27, 2022 (BOP No. 206, of October 27, 2022), in Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, in the Regulation that develops it, in the Bases for the execution of the general Budget of the Diputación de 2025 and in the remaining administrative law rules, failing which the private law rules will apply. Fourth.- Amount. The total amount allocated to the subsidy being called will be FOUR HUNDRED AND TWENTY THOUSAND EUROS (€420,000.00), corresponding to ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY THOUSAND EUROS (€140,000.00) for each annuity: 2025, 2026, 2027. For the annuities 2026 and 2027, the call will be conditioned to the existence of adequate and sufficient credit in the Budget of the Provincial Council for the respective years. The maximum amount subsidized will be the following: o Expenses derived from the hiring of qualified personnel in Tourism: up to 90% of the expenses? Maximum: €1,200 per full-time contract per month, ? Maximum: 600 € per part-time and monthly contract. Personnel qualified in Tourism are understood to be those who are in possession of: Graduate in Tourism; Diploma in Tourism; Business and Tourist Activities Technician (TEAT); Higher Technician in Guide, Information and Tourist Assistance; and Higher Technician in Tourism Information and Marketing. o Expenses derived from hiring personnel
