Organization and development of sporting events in Girona 2025

Official description of the call

First.- Recipients Legal entities (associations, entities, clubs...), individuals and companies that must meet the following conditions may be beneficiaries of the subsidies intended to organize and hold sporting events in the city: 1.1. Be legally constituted. 1.2. Be up to date with your tax obligations with the Girona City Council, the Tax Agency and Social Security. They will prove that they are up to date with the payment of their tax and Social Security obligations in the following way: By providing the certificates issued by the corresponding administrations (State Agency for Tax Administration and Social Security Treasury), or if they do not provide the certificates, the City Council will be able to verify it. They must declare that they do not incur any incompatibility established in article 13.2 of the General Subsidies Law of November 17. 1.3 Comply with the mandatory registration in the Official Registry of Sports Professionals of Catalonia (ROPEC) to practice the profession, except in cases of mandatory membership (Law 3/2008, of April 23, on the exercise of sports professions). 1.4 That the entity complies with the Law on the Protection of Children and Adolescents (State Law 26/2015). 1.5 Entities receiving subsidies: 1.5.1 Line/program C1: Legal entities (associations, entities, clubs...), individuals and companies that organize sporting events in the city and that meet the requirements of the call. 1.5.2 Line/program C2: Associations, entities or clubs in the city that are registered in the Registry of Municipal Entities. 1.6. Those legal entities, individuals and companies that have received or must receive an economic contribution recorded nominatively in the municipal budget, that receive a direct subsidy on an extraordinary basis or that have a concession for a municipal facility will be excluded. Likewise, all activities carried out within the framework of the Sea Otter Festival will also be excluded. Second.- Purpose The following lines/programs may be subject to subsidies: C.1. Subsidies for the organization of sporting events with economic and tourist impact or promotion in the city. C.2. Subsidies for the organization of specific sporting events related to physical activities and sports. Associations, legal entities, individuals and companies may only apply to one of the two lines/programs of this call, and only one proposal may be submitted to the call. Exceptionally, a maximum of two applications per entity will be admitted, as long as the proposals presented are from different specialties certified by the DTE or that one of them is restricted exclusively to female participation. Fifth.- Application submission deadline The submission of applications implies full acceptance of these bases and the requirements and obligations contained therein. The deadline for submitting applications in the general entry registry of the Girona City Council (through the Electronic Office) will be 30 calendar days, counting from the publication in the BOP of the extract of the call. In accordance with Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the common procedure of public administrations, all entities are obliged to interact with public administrations by electronic means and, therefore, necessarily have a certificate
