MULTY-YEAR ONGD SUBSIDIES DIRECTED TO THE FINANCING OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION PROJECTS FOR DEVELOPMENT 2025/26

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3 and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidy Database (http-://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index): 1.- BENEFICIARIES Organizations may be beneficiaries of this call Non-Governmental Development Cooperation Organizations (NGDO) and non-profit Associations, Congregations or Collectives, as well as collaborating entities that represent International organizations of the United Nations system that meet the following requirements: a) Be legally constituted and registered in the corresponding Municipal Registry of Associations on the date of publication of this call. b) Have a permanent headquarters or delegation in the municipality of Palencia before the publication of this call. c) Accredit experience and operational capacity in the field of cooperation in the last year with respect to this call through the management report. d) Not be subject to any of the prohibitions established in sections 2 and 3 of article 13 of the LGS. e) Have a local partner or counterpart in the country where the project is going to be developed. f) Be up to date with compliance with the obligations contracted with the Palencia City Council in the event of having previously received aid and subsidies. g) Have developed dissemination, awareness or education activities for development in the Municipality of Palencia, in the year prior to this call, and must identify and prove the date and place of celebration thereof. 2.-OBJECT The purpose of this call is the granting of aid in the field of Development Cooperation to finance International Development Cooperation actions that are carried out during the years 2025-2026, considering as such those carried out in countries receiving official development aid related to International Development Cooperation projects. Modality of the projects: (A) INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION FOR DEVELOPMENT, understood as that which is carried out to achieve, in those countries receiving aid, sustainable, human, social and economic development that contributes to the elimination of international inequalities and the eradication of poverty. Number of eligible projects: Each NGDO may present only one Development Cooperation project. In the calculation, other projects financed by the City Council itself in terms of Emergency Aid will not be taken into account. 3.-REGULATORY BASES General Subsidies Ordinance of the Hon. Palencia City Council, published in BOP of August 11, 2006. 4.-AMOUNT The total amount of financial aid, in terms of the contribution of the Palencia City Council, will be €164,000.00, of which €114,800.00 will be charged to budget item 2025/6/23101/48001.
