SUBSIDIES FOR PARTICIPATING CITY COUNCILS IN THE ARAGONESE NETWORK OF PERFORMANCE SPACES (WEEE) 2025.

Official description of the call

EXTRACT from Decree no. 2025-3946, dated October 15, 2025, of the Presidency, which approves the "Call for subsidies for municipalities participating in the Aragonese Network of Scenic Spaces (WEEE) 2025". FIRST.- Definition and Purpose of the call. The Aragonese Network of Scenic Spaces is an inter-institutional cooperation program between the Government of Aragon and the three Aragonese Provincial Councils aimed at the municipalities to stimulate the exhibition and cultural activity of the scenic spaces of the town councils. The objectives of the Network of Performing Spaces are: -Promote stage and music activity with professional and quality criteria in the Aragonese territory, favoring a stable offer in the Aragonese municipalities. -To structure and disseminate the network of Aragonese public stage facilities, favoring their programming and activity in the best possible conditions, as well as articulating communication channels between them and with the public, through networking. -Promote cooperation between artistic companies and the performing spaces themselves in centers of activity and cultural resources. The purpose of this call is the granting of aid to attend to the programming and cultural projects that the municipalities of the province of Teruel want to develop cooperatively within the framework established by the WEEE program during the year 2025. SECOND.- Budget credit. The credit for this call amounts to the amount of 30,000 Euros, which will be applied from the budget application 3340-48002 of the budget for the year 2025. THIRD.- Participation in the Aragonese Network of Scenic Spaces All Aragonese city councils, which are owners, may participate in the call for aid from the Aragonese Network of Scenic Spaces (WEEE) program. tenants or have by any other legal title a scenic space intended for the celebration of cultural activities. For these purposes, multipurpose rooms and similar spaces will not be considered stage space. Likewise, the performing spaces will have the following characteristics: - Have a minimum capacity for 200 seats. - Have a stage with a minimum of 7 meters wide and 5 meters deep. - Have a warehouse for materials. - Have a cabin with equipment, or enough space in the seating area for the placement of light, sound, projection, etc. tables. - Have dressing rooms equipped with tables, chairs and mirrors with light for makeup. The town councils that wish to participate in the program of the Aragonese Network of Scenic Spaces will present their application accompanied by a responsible declaration stating: - that the entity has the scenic space for which it is requesting inclusion in the WEEE, specifying the corresponding title. - that the stage space complies with the established requirements and to which the General Directorate of Culture of the Government of Aragon will have previously given its approval. The document issued by the Government of Aragon must be sent to the convening Administrations, within the deadline for submitting applications for each of the calls, since obtaining the status of beneficiary will be assessed prior to the granting of the subsidy. The Town Councils will not be able to participate in the WEEE program without the document issued by the Government of Aragon, within the application period of each of the published calls. Each town council may request participation in the WEEE program for more than one scenic space in its municipality as long as they meet the required characteristics. FOURTH.- Applications and deadline Applications will be submitted exclusively through the Electronic Headquarters of the Provincial Council of Teruel. Applications must be signed electronically, in accordance with the provisions of articles 10 and 11 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, by whoever represents the entity, thus expressing their agreement with the conditions of this Call.
