Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b) and 20.8.a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (https://www.infosubvenciones.es) and in this Official Gazette of Extremadura. First. Object. Approve the call for subsidies, of a multi-year nature and on a competitive basis, for the execution of works to improve energy efficiency, implementation of renewable energies and air conditioning systems in buildings and municipal infrastructures associated with regulated educational activity for early childhood (second cycle) and primary school for municipalities and minor local entities of Extremadura (hereinafter local entities), co-financed within the framework of the FEDER 2021-2027 program. Second. Beneficiaries. Local entities of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura may be beneficiaries of this subsidy. Third. Regulatory bases. These aids are governed by the provisions of Decree 194/2025, of December 30, 2025, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies for the performance of energy efficiency works in buildings and infrastructure linked to the provision of educational services, intended for local entities in Extremadura. Room. Amount. This line of subsidies is co-financed with the FEDER 2021-2027 Extremadura operational program. These subsidies will be made effective from the budget application 13001.222A.76000 Fund FD212A2101 Project 20230185 (Energy efficiency in public buildings and infrastructure for children and primary education), up to a maximum amount of €20,713,358.20 with the following distribution by annuities: 2026 5,178,339.55 euros. 2027 10,356,679.10 euros. 2028 5,178,339.55 euros. Total 20,713,358.20 euros. There is the possibility of extending credit in the cases provided for in article 23.2.h) of Law 6/2011, of March 23, on subsidies from the Autonomous Community of Extremadura. In these cases, the granting body must publish the extension of credit in the same media as the call, without such publicity implying the opening of the deadline to submit new applications or the start of a new calculation of the deadline to resolve. The financial aid granted will finance a maximum of 80% of the total eligible cost of the project, with a limit of €200,000.00 per application. Therefore, each beneficiary local entity must contribute at least the amount equivalent to 20% of the total eligible cost or the final eligible cost of the subsidized project. In the case of the minimum possible investment, you must contribute €7,500.00. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be four months, counting from the day following the publication of the call and this extract in the Official Gazette of Extremadura (https://doe.juntaex.es).
