Official description of the call

By Mayoral Presidency Decree number 2026/67, dated January 15, the agreement was adopted to approve the Call for Individual Aid for People with Disabilities for the financial year 2026, charged to the Concerted Plan for Basic Benefits 2026, financed with funds from the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumption and Agenda 2030 of the State; from the Department of Social Welfare, Equality, Youth, Children and Families of the Government of the Canary Islands; and of this municipal entity. "First. Beneficiaries: 1.- Beneficiaries of this aid may be those who, in addition to the requirements set forth in sections a) c) d) and e) of article 3.1 of the Ordinance regulating the Economic Benefits of Social Services (BOP No. 146, dated December 4, 2024), also meet the following requirements set forth in article 21 of the aforementioned text and which are those related to continuation: a) Hold the legal status of a person with a disability in the manner provided for in article 4.2 of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2013, of November 29, which approves the Revised Text of the General Law on the rights of persons with disabilities and their social inclusion. In compliance with the provisions of the aforementioned precept, those who have been recognized with a degree of disability equal to or greater than 33 percent will be considered persons with disabilities. b) That the per capita income of the family unit to which the applicant belongs is not higher than the current Interprofessional Minimum Wage. Persons who receive other aid of the same nature, scope and purpose from other institutions may not benefit from this aid. In exceptional cases, they may receive up to the supplement if the other institutions have not granted all of the aid requested, without prejudice to the obligation to communicate the aid received to this or other entities. for people with disabilities are those aimed at addressing the state, situation of need or fact in which the recipient is or is suffering as a result of their condition as a person with a disability and that affects their personal, social and economic autonomy, in order to achieve their normal human or social development. These aids are intended to address the situations derived from the physical, mental, sensory, social and economic conditions caused by the effects of the disability. Third. with disabilities, will be included in one of the following types: a) Basic Aid. Those intended to cover the following benefits: - Rehabilitation, which includes early stimulation, functional medical recovery and psychotherapeutic treatment - Specialized assistance, including personal development, rehabilitation treatments or acquisition of prostheses, creation of habits for daily living activities and temporary accommodation for family respite. adults, mini residences or sheltered apartments and occupational care centers. - For Mobility by increasing the mobility capacity of the person with a disability and strengthening relationships with the environment, such as the acquisition and/or adaptation of motor vehicles or the acquisition and/or adaptation or repair of a wheelchair. training actions in a special regime required by the rehabilitation process, as well as special support services necessary so that people in the rehabilitation process can take education at different levels, degrees or modalities that lead to their professional or work integration b) Complementary Aid those intended for transportation, residence and dining room provided that they are complementary and a consequence of the main basic aid and provided that said aid is not attended to by other entities. c) Renewal Aid that has been provided periodically. granting to people with disabilities in previous years, just
