Subsidies, for the implementation of technological, innovation, science, research, technological entrepreneurship and business consolidation events in the city of Valencia during 2026

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries: Natural or legal persons, as well as communities of property, civil societies, associations, foundations, unions, professional associations and, in general, non-profit entities or other economic entities without legal personality, legally constituted that develop activities linked to the purpose of this call and meet the following requirements, may apply for the subsidy: - Have the capacity to act and have the necessary professional qualification to carry out the subsidized project. - Not being subject to any of the circumstances provided for in article 13.2 and 13.3 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. In particular, be up to date with compliance with your tax obligations and with Social Security, in accordance with the provisions of the aforementioned Law and the General Subsidies Ordinance of the Valencia City Council and its Public Bodies, including state, regional and local tax obligations, as well as those corresponding to the General Treasury of Social Security (TGSS). Second. Purpose Support for the holding of events, fairs, exhibitions and other informative activities (hereinafter the projects) related to technology, innovation, science, research, technological entrepreneurship and business consolidation, which contribute to the transfer of knowledge and technology. Priority will be given to those projects that, in addition to complying with the general alignment indicated in the previous section, present a specific fit and a significant contribution to the strategic and transversal areas defined in the Valencia Innovation Capital strategy and in the entity's 2026 Action Plan. The projects must be developed in the municipality of València between January 1 and December 18, 2026, both inclusive. Third Regulatory bases The regulatory bases of this call were approved by Resolution No. R54/2026, dated March 9, 2026, of the Acting Managing Director of the Valencian Community Foundation for Strategic Promotion, Development and Urban Innovation, prior authorization from the Local Government Board of the Valencia City Council, granted in a session of March 6, 2026. These bases are published in full in the “Contractor Profile” section of the Foundation's corporate website, along with the approval resolution, and in the National Subsidies Database (BDNS), in accordance with the provisions of the applicable regulations. Room. Amount The amount intended to cover this subsidy amounts to €400,000.00 (four hundred thousand euros), charged to the budget application corresponding to the 2026 Action Plan of the Valencian Community Foundation for Strategic Promotion, Development and Urban Innovation, within the strategic line “València Innovation Ecosystem” and, specifically, in the “subsidy for sectoral events” action. The possibility of increasing the total amount of this call is reserved, as long as there is credit available in the Foundation's budget, up to a maximum additional amount of €100,000.00, through the corresponding modification or extension of credit in accordance with the applicable regulations. The amounts of the subsidy are established based on the score obtained by the beneficiary entities, in accordance with the assessment criteria provided for in the corresponding section of these regulatory bases, in accordance with the following scale: - From 50 to 57 points: €6,000 - From 58 to 65 points: €12,000 - From 66 to 73 points: €18,000 - From 74 to 81 points: €24,000 - From 82 to 89 points: €30,000 - From 90 to 100 points: €40,000 In any case, the amount of the subsidy awarded may not exceed 50% of the total cost of the project, excluding recoverable taxes. Consequently, the resulting amount based on the score obtained will be reduced, if applicable, to comply with this limit. Projects whose overall budget is less than €12,000 will not be eligible for financing. The subsidy will be proportionally reduced when the degree of execution of the budget presented in the application, excluding recoverable indirect taxes, is less than 90% and greater than or equal to 70%, as provided.
