First. Beneficiaries. Commercial companies, economic interest groups or business associations may obtain the status of beneficiary, which are validly constituted at the time of submission of the application and have a joint marketing strategy, with the commitment of the member companies to operate as a group in one or several markets outside of Cantabria, sharing risks and costs. They must comply, among others, with the requirements established below: a) In the case of business associations: • Be registered in the Repository of statutes of union and business organizations - General Directorate of Labor, from the date indicated in this call. • It must be made up of companies with headquarters or work centers in Cantabria and, at least, 60% of its members must develop an economic activity assigned to the transforming industrial sector and included in Annex I of the program's regulatory bases. • You must have a document expressly stating in writing the commitments assumed by each member of the association with the execution of all the activities that support the granting of the aid within the established period, acting in the name and on behalf of the beneficiary. b) In the case of the rest of the entities: • Be made up of at least 3 companies with registered office or work center in Cantabria, independent and not linked to each other. The Cantabrian companies that make up the beneficiary entity must develop an economic activity included in the aforementioned Annex I. The entity may incorporate among its partners other companies with registered offices outside of Cantabria as long as their number does not exceed 25% of the total number of companies that make up the cooperation entity. • The companies that make up the cooperation entity must have their own products or services. c) The applicant must have, in all cases, a joint Commercial Action Plan that includes the description of the participating companies, their products or services, definition of the commercial expectations and objectives to be achieved in cooperation in the new markets, as well as the strategies, identifying segment, clientele, target markets and defining activities to be carried out and deadlines to achieve them. All these aspects will be collected in a REPORT that must be presented at SODERCAN. Applicants must have their own legal personality and social and tax domicile in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria and carry out from the region the activities likely to obtain a subsidy within the framework of this aid program. Second. Object. The purpose of the “COOPERA PARA CRECER” line of subsidies is to support the establishment of cooperation entities and joint commercial expansion projects in markets outside Cantabria, motivated by the search for mutual competitive advantages derived from operational synergies. Third. Regulatory bases. On September 18, 2024, Order IND/45/2024, of September 11, was published in the Official Gazette of Cantabria number 181, which establishes the regulatory bases of the “COOPERA PARA CRECER” subsidy program, promoted by SODERCAN, S.A. The maximum subsidy intensity to be applied to eligible expenses may be up to 100% of the total eligible budget, up to a maximum of €60,000 per beneficiary applicant (commercial companies, economic interest groups and export consortia) for those beneficiaries with less than 5 years of service. For those beneficiaries with a seniority between 5 and 10 years at the time of application, the maximum subsidy intensity to be applied for all eligible expenses of the project may be up to 90%, up to a maximum of €50,000.
