Agreement No. 75/26 of the Gº Board of April 24, 2026 approving Call subv. for outstanding athletes in the province of Valladolid for expenses generated as a result of sports practice, 2026

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries. Athletes (coaches and referees are not included) who practice sports disciplines that have a National Federation that regulates them, and who meet the following requirements will be able to access this aid: a) Be registered, since at least January 1, 2026, in a municipality in the province of Valladolid whose population is less than 20,000 inhabitants. To determine the municipal population, the latest official data published by the National Statistics Institute (INE) will be taken into account. b) Be in possession of the corresponding federative license, in force at the time of submission of the application. c) Have participated during the year 2025 in the regional championship in its final phase of the regular competition (expressly excluding the classification obtained in the provincial phase), Spanish championship, European championship, world championship, Olympic Games or Paralympic Games, convened by the federation corresponding to its sporting modality. Also included is participation in national events that count towards the Spanish Championship, as well as participation in the corresponding categories of the Trisome Games. d) Have been called during the year 2025 for official competitions by the regional and/or national team corresponding to their sporting modality. Exceptionally, in the event that there are no regional and/or national teams called for that year, one of the following requirements must be accredited: a) inclusion of the athlete in official technical, monitoring or high performance structures at the regional or national level, through a call, designation, resolution, official list or express certification issued by the corresponding Sports Federation or by the competent Sports Administration; b) having participated with the club or as an independent athlete in the official Spanish Championship organized by the official Federation recognized by the Higher Sports Council during the year 2025; c) having participated in the European Championship during the year 2025; d) or having participated in the World Championship during the year 2025. e) Not having been sanctioned by a final resolution regarding sports discipline. f) Not receiving periodic remuneration for sports practice under a professional or semi-professional contract. Second. Object. Subsidies are being called for the year 2026, under a competitive competition regime, for outstanding athletes in the province of Valladolid, to cover the expenses generated as a result of sports practice. Third. Regulatory bases. General Ordinance on Subsidies of the Provincial Council of Valladolid (B.O.P. of the Province of Valladolid of March 6, 2006). Room. Amount. The total amount of the subsidies may not exceed the amount of eighty-five thousand euros (€85,000), recorded in application 507.34103.48338 of the Provincial Budget for the year 2026. The maximum subsidy amount per athlete may not exceed the amount of two thousand five hundred euros (€2,500). Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will end after 20 business days, counted from 00:00 hours of the day following the day on which the announcement of the call is published in extract in the Official Gazette of the Province, until 2:00 p.m. of the twentieth business day. Sixth. Other information of interest. - Expenses and eligible period: those provided for in Base 5 of the call. - Compatibility: The subsidies granted on the occasion of this call are compatible with any type of aid received by beneficiaries from public or private institutions for the same purpose. - Applications: according to Base 8 of the call. - Documentation: that provided for in Base 9 of the call. - Assessment criteria: those provided for in Rule 12 of the call. - Payment method: after justifying the expense. - Form of justification: by presenting the documentation referred to in Base 17 of the call. - Maximum justification period: will end on October 30, 2026
