Announcement of the call for subsidies to cultural entities In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published. The Local Government Board of the Caldes de Malavella City Council, by agreement dated May 21, 2026, has approved the Call for the granting of subsidies to non-profit entities and/or associations that develop cultural activities for the year 2026, in the following terms: CALL FOR THE GRANTING OF SUBSIDIES IN THE FIELD OF CULTURAL ACTIVITIES, YEAR 2026 The regulatory bases for the granting of Subsidies regarding cultural activities were approved on January 28, 2008, and published in the BOP of Girona no. 45, dated March 4, 2008. The maximum total amount of the subsidies called is €40,000.00. In general, the amount of the subsidy may not exceed 50% of the activity's budget. Non-profit entities and associations of Caldes de Malavella that meet the following requirements may apply for these subsidies: Be legally constituted and registered in the Municipal Registry of Entities of the Caldes de Malavella Town Hall, and have updated data. Be registered in the Registry of Associations of the Generalitat of Catalonia. Exceptionally, a group of entities from Caldes de Malavella, or a group of citizens that, without being legally constituted as a legal entity, due to the tradition and customs of the town, have their activity recognized by the municipality, due to their interest, may be considered a beneficiary. Entities and associations will not be able to participate in activities for which they request the subsidy is included in other specific calls, or they already have a collaboration agreement with the City Council that includes the objectives of this call. The competent body for the investigation of the file is the Culture Registry. The competent body to resolve is the Local Government Board, by virtue of Mayoral Decree no. 2025-0616 of April 11, 2025, published in BOP Girona no. 73 dated April 15, 2025 on delegation of powers. The granting regime and terms for submitting applications are as follows: Competitive competition, through the competition and public call system. The budget credit to which the subsidy is allocated is €40,000.00, from item 05-334-48001 of the municipal budget. Applications will be formulated by means of a request addressed to the Mayor-President, and will be presented at the entrance register of the City Council or by any of the means indicated in article 16 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the common administrative procedure of public administrations within a period of 20 days from the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province. The application must be accompanied by the following documentation: Report of the activities for which the subsidy is requested. The maximum amount of data available will be indicated in relation to data on the celebration of the activity, the reason why it is organized and the expected number of participants. Detailed budget of the activity with indication of the association's financial contribution. Forecast of other possible income, fees, contributions or aid and subsidies, indicating the granting institutions. If there have been changes in the bylaws or in the composition and positions of the entity's Board, an authenticated copy of the new bylaws or the approved modification must be provided. Evaluation criteria. The proposal for awarding the subsidies will take into account the following considerations: The degree of implementation of the entity in Caldes.
