Subsidies for the Network of Municipal Scenic Spaces of Tenerife 2026

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries. The town councils of the island of Tenerife and its institutional public sector (autonomous organizations and public business entities) may be beneficiaries of these subsidies. Second. Object. These subsidies are intended to contribute to the partial financing of the expenses incurred by the hiring, production and exhibition of performing and musical arts activities in public spaces intended for such purposes. It seeks to promote artistic activities in the performing disciplines of theater, dance, circus, street arts or performance in multiple formats and audience segments, as well as classical, jazz, contemporary or electronic music not included in the leisure and entertainment industry. Third. Regulatory bases. Approved by Agreement of the Island Government Council AC0000027716 dated April 22, 2026, and published in the BOP of Santa Cruz de Tenerife No. 52 dated May 1, 2026 (https://www.bopsantacruzdetenerife.es/bopsc2/sumario.php?codigopub=1&fecha_mas_reciente=2026-05-01). Room. Amount. The subsidies from this call will be financed from budget application 26.0801.3342.46240 of the Budget of the Island Council of Tenerife for 2026, for an amount of four hundred and thirty thousand (€430,000.00) euros for activities of function programming, mediation, residencies and/or training, carried out between June 1, 2026 and May 31, 2027. Fifth. Application submission deadline. It will be twenty (20) calendar days from the day following the publication of this extract. Once the application has been completed, the documents required in base 9 of those that regulate this call will be attached. Sixth. Other data. Financing requirements: the subsidies awarded may reach a maximum of 50 percent of eligible expenses per modality and 70% for dance shows, in accordance with the limit of 40,000 euros for programming; 2,500 euros for mediation and for residences; and 1,000 euros for training activities. Justification: the subsidized activities must be justified immediately once their execution is completed and, in any case, before July 31, 2027. Compatibility: these subsidies are compatible with the receipt of other subsidies, aid, income or resources for the same purpose, coming from other Administrations or public or private entities, national, from the European Union or from international organizations.
