Official description of the call

The Alzira City Council, through this call, aims to implement support measures, with the aim of reactivating economic activity and promoting local retail trade. The objective is to protect the general interest of the citizens of Alzira, supporting self-employed people, microenterprises and small businesses, to achieve a reactivation of the economy of our city, acting directly on natural and legal persons. Among all the proposals studied to carry out this reactivation, the Alzira City Council, and with the agreement of the municipal commerce advisory council, has chosen to continue with the once innovative measure of trade bonds, whose objective is to inject resources into the local economy. Throughout these 9 editions, a total of 15,000 bonds have been issued, which have represented an injection of €1,350,000 into the local economy. Commercial vouchers are aid to citizens to reactivate the local economy and are formalized through “€100 prepaid electronic cards”, in which the citizen pays one part and the City Council another, with the aim of being consumed in all the Alzira establishments that are attached to the Alzira Card. For the sake of efficiency and administrative simplification, this call aims to establish the conditions of the two bonus campaigns planned for 2026. The first of them, called “SUMMER BONUSES”, scheduled for July and with the objective of complying with the implementation of aid to promote local commerce, and the second called “CHRISTMAS BONUSES”, scheduled for December. The vouchers from the “SUMMER BONUSES” call may be consumed exclusively in commercial establishments whose activity headings are established in the previous Order 5/2022, specifically: IAE (Royal Decree Law 1175/1991, of September 28): Section first division 6, groups: Group 64, except 646 and heading 647.5. Group 65, except section 652.1 and groups 654 and 655. The expiration date of the vouchers will be August 31, 2026, leaving them without effect of use from the indicated date, without the possibility of refund or renewal of the card. The bonuses from the “CHRISTMAS BONUSES” call can be consumed in all establishments attached to the Alzira Card, both businesses, services and hospitality. AMOUNT OF TRADE BONDS AND ISSUANCE The detail of the distribution of the contribution of the citizen and the City Council is as follows: The “Commerce Bonds” will have a value of €100 of which, the citizen will contribute €60 and the Alzira City Council €40. This distribution represents a contribution of the total bonus, 60% by the citizen and 40% by the council. For the “SUMMER BONUSES” campaign, 750 trade vouchers will be issued. For the “CHRISTMAS BONUSES” campaign, 750 trade vouchers will be issued. ECONOMIC CONDITIONS WITH CAIXA POPULAR The issuance and distribution of the bank cards, which support the 2026 Trade Bond campaign, is carried out by Caixa Popular according to the conditions of the agreement signed between the banking entity and the City Council of Alzira El Excmo.
