Call for "Direct subsidies to the Town Councils of the island of Tenerife aimed at supporting projects that contribute to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals and the promotion of employment at the local level, 2026" (AC0000028005_CGI_10062026)

Official description of the call

First.- Beneficiaries: The 31 Town Councils of the island of Tenerife will be considered beneficiary entities. The rest of the local public entities of the Island of Tenerife, as well as their autonomous bodies, public companies and other municipal entities and associations, are expressly excluded. Second.- Purpose: Granting direct subsidies to the Town Councils of the island of Tenerife aimed at supporting the implementation of projects of general and social interest within their jurisdiction that contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals at the local level and to the advancement of equal opportunities between men and women. Third.- Regulatory Bases: The regulatory bases of this call were approved by agreement of the Island Government Council held on June 10, 2026. Fourth.- Amount: The budgetary credit approved for this call amounts to TEN MILLION EUROS (€10,000,000.00) charged to the budget application 26-1001-2412-46240 (project number 2024-0286), grant number 2026-000894. Fifth.- Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for submitting applications will be THIRTY (30) CALENDAR DAYS to be computed from the day following the publication of this call extract in the Official Gazette of the Province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Sixth.- Deadline for justifying the grants awarded: The deadline for justifying the grants awarded is set at TWO MONTHS starting from the day following the end of the deadline set for the execution of the subsidized Project. Seventh.- Project Execution Period: The start date of the project will be considered the day following the notification of the granting resolution. The execution period of the projects will be linked to the duration of the longest employment contract provided for in each project and the execution needs of the same, and may reach, as a maximum reference, a period equivalent to the duration of said contract plus nine (9) additional months. Based on this configuration, the maximum reference duration of the projects is, in general, within a range between fifteen (15) and twenty-four (24) months, counted from the day following the date of notification of the resolution granting the subsidy. However, when the training is contracted through an open bidding procedure, the execution period may be extended up to three (3) additional months. Likewise, the execution period may be extended by the Cabildo of Tenerife, ex officio or at a duly motivated request by the beneficiary entity, provided that this is made at least two (2) months in advance of the end of the initially established period, and without said extension entailing modification or alteration of the subsidized project. Eighth.- Other information: Applications must be submitted electronically using an official standardized form specifically prepared for this call by the Tenerife Island Council through the electronic headquarters of the Tenerife Island Council at https://sede.tenerife.es, according to the instructions of Base 9.1 of the regulators. The documentation to be submitted together with the application form will be that listed in Annex I of the Regulatory Bases. Ninth.- Annexes to the call:
