Granting of Subsidies to Music Schools or Students for the 2025/2026 academic year

Official description of the call

First: Purpose The purpose of these rules is to regulate the granting of subsidies to finance music schools or students, the acquisition and repair of instruments, computer equipment and travel related to their activity. Second: Beneficiaries Musical societies with an established band that have a music school or students, are based in the city of Benidorm and registered in the register of cultural entities of the Benidorm City Council and in the Federation of Musical Societies of the Valencian Community may benefit from the aid. Persons or entities in whom any of the circumstances provided for in section 2 of article 13 of Law 38/2003, General of Subsidies, may not have the status of beneficiary. Third: Subsidy Amount The subsidies for this call have an endowment of €45,000, with a maximum amount per beneficiary of €15,000 Fourth: Procedure. The granting of subsidies will be processed by the ordinary procedure under a competitive competition regime, by comparing the applications presented, in order to establish a relationship between them in accordance with evaluation criteria previously established in the bases and in the call, and award, with the limit set in the call within the available credit, those that have obtained the highest evaluation in application of the aforementioned criteria. Expenses subject to subsidy will be those that undoubtedly respond to the nature of the subsidized activity. Fifth: Documentation, applications, place and deadline for application. The documentation to be presented will be: A. Document accrediting the founding date of the music school or students, signed and sealed by the president and secretary. B. Certificate from the Secretary with the VºBº of the President of the society on the nominal list of students enrolled in the 2025/2026 academic year and total number of members of the band, signed and sealed by the Federation of musical societies of the Valencian Community FSMCV. C. List of the teacher or teachers, indicating name and subjects taught. D. Certification issued by the Secretary of the society, with the VºBº of the President, indicating the budget of expenses and income linked to the music school or students referring to the year 2025/2026, signed and sealed. E. Model of responsible declaration (Annex II) stating the commitment of the musical society to carry out between 5 and 8 performances in the municipality, in the place and on the date indicated by the Department of Culture, depending on the amount of the subsidy received. The submission period will be one month from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the BOP of Alicante.
