Public aid to the fishing sector of the Principality of Asturias aimed at adapting the fleet for investments in fishing vessels and initial investment for young fishermen, within the framework of the FEMPA, fiscal year 2026

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries: The beneficiary of the aid will be the natural or legal person, or any other type of group of those, recipient of the public funds that must carry out the activity or project that justified its granting or that is in the situation that legitimizes its granting, who meets the requirements established in the fifth article of the Resolution of June 27, 2024, of the Ministry of Rural Environment and Agrarian Policy, by which approve the regulatory bases for aid aimed at adapting the fishing fleet of the Principality of Asturias, within the framework of the FEMPA 2021-2027. (BOPA July 4, 2024) Second. Purpose: The purpose of this call is to regulate the aid provided for in Regulation (EU) 2021/1139, of the European Parliament and of the Council, of July 7, 2021, which establishes the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund for the period 2021-2027 aimed at financing the following lines of action: -,,Investments in fishing vessels, with the following measures: o,,improvement of working conditions and safety on board (without and with an increase in capacity) o,,energy efficiency and climate change mitigation (without and with an increase in capacity) o,,replacement or modernization of engines o,,added value, circular economy and food security - Initial help for young fishermen Third. Regulatory bases: The present public aid will be governed by the provisions of the Resolution of June 27, 2024, of the Ministry of Rural Environment and Agrarian Policy, which approves the regulatory bases of the aid aimed at the adaptation of the fishing fleet of the Principality of Asturias, within the framework of the FEMPA 2021-2027 (BOPA of July 4, 2024).
