Primeira.-Entidades beneficiarias. 1. Councils of the Principality of Asturias with a legal population of less than 20,000 inhabitants may be beneficiaries of the aid. 2. The official figures resulting from the last annual population census published by the National Institute of Statistics on the date of publication of the extract of this call in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias will be taken as legal populations. 3. Entities in which any of the circumstances provided for in section 2 of article 13 of the LGS occur may not be beneficiaries of the subsidy. The assessment of these circumstances will be carried out in the manner established in sections 4 to 6 of the aforementioned article 13, and will have the scope established for each one. Segundo.- Obxecto. The purpose of the subsidies will be to finance the acquisition by the municipalities of the Principality of Asturias of specific equipment for the collection of municipal waste. The purpose of these subsidies is to support the improvement in the provision of equipment that the municipalities of the Principality of Asturias have for the collection of municipal waste, contributing to compliance with the legal objectives regarding separate collection and recycling of municipal waste, in accordance with Law 7/2022, of April 8, on waste and contaminated soils for a circular economy. Terceira.-Bases reguladoras. This call is made pursuant to the Resolution of August 26, 2025, of the Ministry of Mobility, Environment and Emergency Management, which approved the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies to local entities for the acquisition of equipment for the management of municipal waste (BOPA no. 175, of September 11, 2025), in its current wording after the Order of the Ministry of Mobility, Environment and Emergency Management, which approves the first modification of said regulatory bases (BOPA no. 68, of April 10, 2026). Cuarto.- Importe. 1. The total amount assigned to this call amounts to ONE MILLION FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND EUROS (€1,500,000), to be financed from budget application 1806.443D.763.203, "Aid for waste management equipment", of the General Budgets of the Principality of Asturias for 2026. 2. The intensity of the aid will be a percentage of the costs eligible, establishing the maximum total amount per beneficiary local entity. Aid intensity according to the legal population (P = number of inhabitants): - If P less than 5,000, aid intensity 90%. - If P greater than or equal to 5,000 and less than or equal to 20,000, aid intensity 80%. Importe total máximo 75.000 €. 3. The subsidy to be granted may not exceed, in any case, the amount requested by the beneficiary entity. Quinta.- Prazo de presentación de solicitudes. 1. The deadline for submitting applications will be fifteen calendar days from the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias "BOPA". Applications submitted after the deadline will not be admissible. 2. The submission of applications will be carried out exclusively by electronic means, in accordance with articles 14 and 16 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations (hereinafter, LPACAP). 3. In accordance with the provisions of article 66.6 of the LPACAP, applications, addressed to the head of the Ministry responsible for the environment, will be submitted compulsorily using the standardized electronic form enabled for this purpose in the service sheet AYUD0572T01 available at the electronic headquarters of the Principality of Asturias, which can be accessed through the following address https://sede.asturias.es and by writing in the search engine at a parte superior dereita da páxina. o código indicado.
