Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries. People over 18 years of age and family or cohabitation units registered in Puigcerdá and who cannot meet basic needs or are affected by processes linked to the economic crisis, as well as non-profit organizations in Puigcerdá that carry out actions in this area. Second. Purpose The purpose of this call is to regulate the granting of financial aid from the area of ​​Social Welfare, Attention to Diversity, Inclusion and Equality of the Puigcerdá City Council, intended to cover the needs of people and family units affected by processes linked to the economic crisis, addressing situations of specific, urgent and basic or subsistence needs; aid in situations of economic emergency and aid to cover the basic needs of vulnerable people and family units and/or at risk of social and/or economic exclusion on a non-competitive basis. Third. Regulatory Bases. Specific regulatory bases for social emergency benefits approved by the Local Government Board dated 05/20/2019 and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona number 119 dated June 20, 2019. Fourth. Amount. The total amount allocated to this call is 40,000 euros. The subsidies will be charged to the budget application of the general budget of the Puigcerdà City Council detailed below: 231-4800100 Attention to pedestrians and families This initial amount may be increased if the budget allocation is increased in the budget application 231-4800100 through credit modification or definitive approval of the general budget for the year 2023. Fifth. Application submission deadline. Applications will be submitted directly to the area of ​​Social Welfare, Attention to Diversity, Inclusion and Equality according to a standardized model. The deadline for its submission ends on December 31, 2023. Sixth. Justification. The justification of the aid will be made prior to the resolution of the granting of the aid, by presenting invoices or supporting documents proving the expense for which the aid is requested to the area of ​​Social Welfare, Attention to Diversity, Inclusion and Equality.
