Subsidies for ESO institutes and the adult school in the city of Figueres for educational outings, conversation workshops in foreign languages ​​and learning/service projects within the PEE framework for course 22/23

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries. The secondary education institutes and the adult school of the city of Figueres Segundo. Object. The purpose of this call is to regulate the granting, by the Figueres City Council, of subsidies to the institutes and the adult school of Figueres that must serve to: - Facilitate the participation of all students in the ordinary and extraordinary activities of the center. - Facilitate the management of centers, especially those located in more disadvantaged sociocultural and economic environments. - Ensure that all students have an opportunity to deepen their language learning. - Encourage the establishment of learning/service projects, understood as citizenship practices that centers can promote, that invite people to live values ​​and promote civic commitment, and as a methodology that links educational centers with their environment. Third. Regulatory bases. The call is made in accordance with the bases approved by the Plenary of the City Council in a session dated September 7, 2017 and published in BOPG number 190 of October 4, 2017. Fourth. Amount. The subsidies object of this call are financed from the budget application 23 202 32600 48016 Subsidies for educational activities with an amount of 28,100.00 euros. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications. The deadline for submitting applications will begin on June 12 and end on June 20, 2023 (both included). Sixth. Other data. Requirements for applying for the subsidy. Secondary education institutes and adult schools in the city of Figueres can apply for this call. Eligible expenses. - Expenses corresponding to the purchase of material necessary to carry out the activities subject to subsidy are eligible for subsidies. Textbooks and regular school materials are NOT included. - Expenses for school and teaching materials that the school provides for the specific development of the activities and projects subject to subsidy are eligible for subsidy. Textbooks are NOT included. Ordinary institute or school material is NOT included. - The expenses of ordinary and extraordinary outings that the school organizes and assumes, corresponding to students with few resources, are eligible for subsidies as long as they are justified by healthy criticism of the school. - The expenses of teachers or outside companies or associations in the center that is contracted to offer conversation workshops in a foreign language are eligible. - Investment expenses are excluded. These subsidies are compatible with those that educational centers request from other administrations and/or institutions for the same purpose. Likewise, it is compatible with other subsidies that the applicant may have obtained for different activities or purposes. In no case can the concurrence of different subsidies generate a surplus in the program. Application. The subsidy application and all the required documentation will be submitted electronically through the entry register of the Figueres City Council, or through the other means provided for in article 16 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. In the case of entities that do not have a digital certificate of legal entity representative, the legal representative may sign the application with their natural person certificate, duly accrediting the representation. The documentation that must be presented is the following: a) Standardized instance. b) Documentation accrediting the representation, if applicable. c) Activity to be subsidized and amount that is usually tendered (Annex 1). d) Total budget of income and expenses (Annex 2). e) Banking data sheet, if they have to be updated. Application assessment criteria. The applications submitted will be evaluated by the evaluation committee based on the size of each center, according to the number of educational lines and, therefore, based on the number of students and the complexity of the centers, according to the number of students with Specific Needs for Educational Support (*NESE) of each center according to the criteria established by the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Cat.
