Resolution of the Rector of La ULL for the call for aid and awards from the Social Council of the University of La Laguna 2023.

Official description of the call

First.- Object. The purpose of these rules is to establish the rules that will govern the granting of aid from the Social Council of the University of La Laguna to the following activities: Promotion of University-Society relations: Entities that develop and execute projects in the current year 2023 (January-December 2023), whose content promotes knowledge, participation and relationships between the University of La Laguna and society. Sustainable Development: Social commitment actions promoted by any group of the university community, to be carried out in 2023 (January-December 2023), that contribute to the ecological transition and/or to the reduction of the digital divide. Excellence: Recognition of excellence in the academic career of students enrolled at this university. Second.- Requirements of applicants. 2.1.1.- University-Society Relations: Any natural or legal person who has the form of a formally constituted non-profit entity, association or collective, who can establish close links with the lines of action of the ULL or who can prove a current connection with the University of La Laguna, including the specific instruments existing in the ULL itself, may participate. The status of a legal entity in the terms described above must be met, at most, on the last day of the application submission period and must be maintained until the financial aid granted is justified or, where appropriate, until the end of the limitation period for infractions or sanctions. 2.1.2.- Sustainable Development: Members of any group of the university community (the applicant must be teaching staff, students, administration and service staff or members of Alumni at the end of the application period), who develop specific projects or actions framed in the sustainable development objectives (SDGs), executed or to be fully executed in 2023, and this aid may be granted on a co-financing basis. 2.1.3.- Excellence Award: Students enrolled at the University of La Laguna in the 2022/2023 academic year, in any teaching leading to obtaining an official university degree valid throughout the national territory, who have passed all the credits corresponding to the 2022/2023 academic year (minimum 60 credits), in any of its calls. 2.2.- Only one application may be submitted for each person or entity referred to in the first section of this base, which is considered to meet the requirements demanded in this call. The submission of applications must be processed through the procedure enabled for this on the ULL website (https://sede.ull.es/ecivilis-site/catalog/showProcedure/677). Said presentation implies unconditional acceptance of the rules of this call. The following documentation will be attached to the form: 2.2.1.- University-Society Relations: Report detailing the project carried out or to be carried out, including the linking of the project with objectives that enhance knowledge, participation and relations between the University of La Laguna and society, as well as the total budget of income and expenses thereof, with the amount requested from the Social Council and execution period. 3.2.2.- Sustainable Development: Report with a descriptive title of the proposal, specifying which sustainable development objectives (SDGs) it promotes, execution period, project team, available resources, including the total budget of income and expenses thereof and the amount requested from the Social Council. 3.2.3.- Excellence: Personal academic certification, corresponding to the official qualification, which includes the average grade of the academic record and, where appropriate, of the corresponding cycles, as well as, where appropriate, the rest of the merits subject to assessment included in section 6.2.3. of these Bases. For each modality, declaration responsible for being up to date with the tax and Social Security Treasury obligations that are appropriate, by virtue of the type of person they represent.
