First.- Call The Awards are called for the best Final Degree Projects that contribute to the promotion of the economic and fiscal regime of the Canary Islands (REF) presented and defended by the students of the University of La Laguna in the 2025/26 Academic Year. Second.- Purpose According to the cooperation agreement signed on March 29, 2026, between the Ministry of Finance and Relations with the European Union, through the Commissioner of the Economic and Fiscal Regime of the Canary Islands, the University of La Laguna and the Provincial Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Santa Cruz de Tenerife (CEOE Tenerife) to reward the best Final Degree Projects that contribute to the promotion of the Economic and Fiscal Regime of the Canary Islands (B.O.C. no. 67 of Wednesday, April 8, 2026) these awards aim to promote the Economic and Fiscal Regime of the Canary Islands through the promotion of research activity among university students on the subject matter of this call, as well as the dissemination of the results of the work carried out and the stimulation of future academic work that contributes to promoting greater knowledge of the REF so that better knowledge of it will lead to development. economic and social of the Canary Islands as a whole. Third.- Beneficiaries The students whose Final Degree Projects have been defended in the 2025/26 Academic Year, with a minimum grade of outstanding (8.0). In the case of students who have defended two or more TFG in this Academic Year, they will only be able to participate in this call with a single TFG, making a single application and whose objective is closely related and duly justified with the aspects that defend the guiding principles of the Economic and Fiscal Regime, as well as the economic and social development of the Canary Islands.- Awards Three prizes will be awarded to the best TFG selected by the Evaluation Commission, taking into account the evaluation criteria established in the call. A first prize will be awarded with €3,000, a second prize will be awarded with €2,000 and the third prize will be awarded with €1,000. The assigned budget keys are: 18.04.02.26.03 455A1 48701, chapter IV, for an amount of €6,000. All awarded works will receive the corresponding accrediting diploma. The prizes will be subject to personal income tax withholding as established by current legislation.
