Official description of the call

First.- Beneficiaries and requirements: Minors from families with socioeconomic difficulties may apply for this aid, and its ultimate purpose is to support family units that, due to insufficient economic resources, cannot afford this expense, so that these situations do not undermine the right to access education under conditions of equality for minors. That the students for whom aid is requested are registered in the municipality of Meaño and enrolled and belonging to family units lacking economic resources. Second.- Purpose: The purpose of this call is to regulate the procedure for granting aid for the acquisition of school materials for students of early childhood education (2nd stage), primary, compulsory secondary, basic vocational training and special education, registered in the municipality of Meaño and enrolled in public educational centers, for the 2023/2024 academic year and who are not yet 18 years old. as of 12/31/2023.Third.- Regulatory bases:Regulatory bases for the granting of municipal aid for the acquisition of school materials and equipment for preschool students (2nd stage), primary education, compulsory secondary education, basic vocational training and special education registered in the City Council of Meaño and enrolled in public educational centers – Academic year 2023/24. (Published in BOPPO no. 159 of date August 18, 2023).Fourth.- Amount:The maximum credit allocated to the financing of this aid amounts to:€3,000.00, charged to item 231.48003 of the Municipal Budget 2,023, aid for the acquisition of school supplies for early childhood education (2nd stage), primary and special education students.€1,000.00, charged to the item. 231.48004 of Municipal Budget 2,023, aid for the acquisition of school supplies for students of compulsory secondary education, basic vocational training and special education. If the credit is not exhausted in any of the applications, the available credit may be used to grant aid in another line until the total credit of €4,000.00 is exhausted. Single-parent families: - Family per capita income up to €3,500.00: €90.00 - Family per capita income from €3,501.00 to €6,500.00: €70.00 Rest of families: - Family per capita income up to €3,200.00: €80.00 - Family per capita income from €3,201.00 to €6,500.00: €60.00 Fifth.- Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for submitting applications will be 15 calendar days, counting from the day following the official publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra.
