XIII Route - "Tapa a Anguía" Contest

Official description of the call

1. OBJECTIVE The objective of these rules is to regulate the conditions of the XIII Route – “Tapa a Anguía” Competition. 2. AVAILABLE BUDGET The amount allocated to this call will be: - 280 euros, in vouchers for advertising spots on municipal radio, the expense being charged to item 3380.48900. - 300 euros, in purchase vouchers in local businesses, the expense being charged to item 3380.48900. - 800 euros, in aprons and trophies, the expense being charged to item 3380.22609. 3. COMPETITIVE COMPETITION The prizes inherent to this contest will be awarded on a competitive basis, after study and evaluation by the jury. 4. PARTICIPANTS In the Route - “Tapa a Anguía” Contest, two categories of participation will be differentiated: - Participants as hospitality entities: Hospitality entities that meet the conditions established in these rules are considered participants. - Participants as clients: Natural persons who meet the conditions established in these bases are considered participants. The participation of hospitality entities will be conditional on: - That they carry out their activity, complying with all legal requirements, in the Valga City Council. - Make your own tapa and offer it for free within established hours, while supplies last. 5. ISSUANCE OF PRIZES AND VOUCHER Valga City Council will issue prizes and vouchers for the different categories of participation. In this way, the available budget will be distributed as follows: 5.1 PRIZES FOR PARTICIPANTS AS HOSPITALITY ENTITIES - Jury prize: Being one of the tapas that will be served at the following year's party, a “golden” apron, worth 100 euros in advertising spots on the municipal radio and a commemorative trophy. - 1st Public Prize: “Gold” apron, worth 100 euros in advertising spots on municipal radio and commemorative trophy. - 2nd Public Prize: “Silver” apron, worth 50 euros in advertising spots on municipal radio and commemorative trophy. - 3rd Public Prize: “Bronze” apron, worth 30 euros in advertising spots on municipal radio and commemorative trophy. 5.2 PRIZES FOR PARTICIPANTS AS CUSTOMERS The city council will issue 10 vouchers of 30 euros. The vouchers can be used in any business in the Valga City Council. The city council will issue 4 vouchers with the amounts of €100, €100, €50 and €30 to the award-winning hostel entities. The winners must make the expense at Radio Valga. These vouchers will be delivered during the days of the XXXVI Festa da Anguía e Mostra da Caña do País celebration. These vouchers must be exchanged before December 15, 2026 6. REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CONDITION OF BENEFICIARIES Persons who meet any of the circumstances provided for in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, may not obtain the status of beneficiaries of the bonds regulated in these bases. 7. DEADLINE AND METHOD OF SUBMISSION OF PARTICIPATION REQUESTS The deadline for submitting applications for participation as hospitality entities will be until August 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Requests for participation must be formulated through the specific model for this route – contest. The city council will provide the application forms physically or electronically to all entities that request it. Applications must be submitted by registration or through the electronic headquarters of the Valga City Council. 8. REQUIREMENTS AND DOCUMENTATION TO BE PROVIDED FOR PARTICIPATION In addition to the requirements established in the previous article, participating hospitality entities must comply with each and every one of the requirements established in article 13 of the General Subsidies Law. 9. PARTICIPATING ENTITIES Those hospitality entities that, being located in the Valga City Council, are registered in the Economic Activities Tax register in Valga may be considered participating entities. Compliance with this requirement will be verified ex officio by the Valga City Council. Those hospitality entities that, although not registered in the IAE registry in Valga for different legal reasons, are in possession of the license may also be considered participating entities.
