1. PURPOSE The purpose of these rules is to regulate the call for the processing and granting of subsidies for individual athletes from the Concello de Valga who participate in official competitions at the regional, national and international level in the 2025-2026 season, understanding as the computable period the period between September 1, 2025 and August 1, 2026. 2. FINANCING The subject subsidies of this call will be made from budget item 3410.48900 of the current municipal budget for the year 2026. The item to distribute will be €9,000, distributed according to the criterion of order of entry/submission of applications and until the assigned budget credit is exhausted, and the maximum per athlete will be €300. 3. ELIGIBLE ACTIVITIES Eligible expenses will be those carried out within the indicated period, including those of those tests that qualify for official championships or circuits organized by the corresponding sports federations or official entities recognized outside the indicated period but included in the 2025-2026 season, as long as they correspond to the nature and purpose of this subsidy, including travel and subsistence expenses (travel, accommodation and board) when having a direct relationship with the object of the subsidy, they derive from participation in official competitions, trips to technical concentrations or to the technical training center, duly accredited by the corresponding federation. 4. REQUIREMENTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE BENEFICIARIES Natural persons who are federated athletes, of any category within individual sports modalities, may be beneficiaries of this subsidy. 5. APPLICATIONS AND DOCUMENTATION People who attend this call must present the following standardized models that will be provided in the sports service or in the electronic headquarters of the town hall: Annex 1: Application for the subsidy to individual athletes of the Valga City Council, year 2026, according to the standardized model, along with the following documentation: Photocopy of the DNI and, if necessary, a document proving legal representation. Photocopy of the federal license valid in the seasons that are accredited. The official documentation that certifies participation in official competitions at the regional, national and international level in the 2025-2026 season. The supporting documentation of the expenses provided to request the granting of the subsidy (ordinary and simplified invoices). Certification of the bank details where the subsidy amount is intended to be received. Annex 2: Responsible Declaration. 6. PLACE AND DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS Applications will be submitted to the General Registry of the Valga City Council, or by electronic office, and the deadline for submission will be from the day following the publication of the regulatory bases until September 18, 2026. 7. AMOUNT AND CRITERIA FOR DISTRIBUTION OF THE SUBSIDY The amount of aid will be a maximum of 300.00 euros per applicant, until the budgetary credit allocated for this purpose is exhausted. RESOURCE REGIME Against the resolution of the aid granting process, which puts an end to the administrative route, the filing of an optional appeal for reconsideration before the Mayor's Office of the Corporation, or the direct filing of a contentious-administrative appeal, is appropriate, in accordance with the provisions of articles 123 and following of the Law. 39/2015.
