Call for the XVI Moncloa-Aravaca Carols Contest 2023.

Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3 b and 20.8 a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database. Promote, within the commitment to the development of educational and social values, the development of creativity, the sense of team and the development of artistic skills and, specifically, musical skills and work in choral groups. Second. Beneficiaries. Public, subsidized and private educational centers in the Moncloa-Aravaca District and the Hospital Classroom of the San Carlos Clinical Hospital, whose students are studying Primary, Secondary and/or Baccalaureate Education in the current 2023/2024 academic year, may participate in this call. Third. Regulatory bases. This call will be governed by the provisions of the General Regulatory Bases Ordinance for the granting of Subsidies by the Madrid City Council and its Public Bodies of October 30, 2013, published on www.madrid.es, and failing that, by Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, and its Regulations. Room. Amount. The total amount allocated to this call amounts to 1,300 euros, which will be distributed as follows: First Prize: €600 Second Prize: €400 Third Prize: €300 Fifth. Application submission deadline. Applications for participation may be submitted from the day following the publication of this call in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid and until November 17, 2023, inclusive. Sixth. Other data. The registration application must be submitted electronically, accessing the City Council's Electronic Headquarters, https://sede.madrid.es, since in accordance with the provisions of article 14.2 a) of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations (hereinafter LPA), legal entities will be obliged to interact through electronic means with Public Administrations to carry out any procedure of an administrative procedure. The application form is available at the Electronic Headquarters of the Madrid City Council (https://sede.madrid.es). The choral groups will be made up of the number of students decided by each participating center up to a maximum of 24. Each choir will be able to participate with the interpretation of one or two Christmas carols, freely chosen. This contest may be held electronically by sending a video or other similar support that allows the jury to evaluate the choir's performance or in person, between December 1 and 12, 2023, with the jury visiting the schools to witness the performance of the participating choirs, which will be communicated with sufficient advance notice.
