Official description of the call
The Valdepeñas City Council, through the Social Services Area and the Senior Council of the Municipal Senior Center, agree to hold the game championships that, on the occasion of the celebration of San Juan, and whose objectives aimed at active aging, are to facilitate community participation while promoting the adequate occupation of the free time of the members of the Center, with the following sections: 1. The bases of the championships were approved on 03/31/2023 with decree number 2023-2499 and are published in BOP no. 71 of April 13, 2023. 2. People interested in participating in the championships must register at the “Lucero” Municipal Senior Center, from May 27 to the day before the championship, from Monday to Friday, completing the form created for this purpose. If the modality is played in pairs, at the time of registration, the entire pair must register. 3. Date of Championships: Truque June 10 10:30 a.m. Petanque June 11 10:30 a.m. Parque del Este Cinquillo June 12 10:30 a.m. Tute June 13 10:30 a.m. 31 June 17 10:30 a.m. 4. 3 prizes are established for those classified in each modality: First Prize: 37 euros Second Prize: 31 euros. Third Prize: 25 euros. In the event that the game is played in pairs (Petanque and Truque), the amount established for the first, second and third prize will be donated with the same amount for each of those who make up the winning couple. The maximum expense in these championships amounts to 651 euros, for SAN JUAN GAMES CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS OF THE “LUCERO” MUNICIPAL SENIOR CENTER Likewise, an accrediting diploma will be awarded. 5. The diplomas will be awarded during the celebration of the San Juan Festival that will take place on June 24 at 8:30 p.m. in the PARQUE DEL ESTE, after purchasing the ticket for said activity. The prizes will be processed by the Administration in accordance with current regulations.
