CALL FOR THE GRANTING OF SUBSIDIES IN COMPETITIVE COMPETITION TO LOCAL SPORTS CLUBS AND ASSOCIATIONS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE MUNICIPAL SPORTS SCHOOLS PROGRAM

Official description of the call

This call complies with the Regulatory Text of the General Bases for the granting of subsidies from the Ciudad Real City Council to autonomous organizations, approved in an extraordinary plenary session on January 20, 2025 and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real number 2651 of April 1, 2025. In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database and on the official website of the Ciudad Real City Council. FIRST. BENEFICIARIES. Sports clubs or associations of individual sports with fiscal and social domicile in the capital and meet the following requirements may be beneficiaries: Clubs that request to be candidates for the development of municipal sports schools for football, indoor soccer, basketball, handball, volleyball, athletics, table tennis, rhythmic gymnastics, chess must prove that they have participated in the regional school sports championship in the 2025/2026 season. Clubs that request to be candidates for the development of municipal sports schools for Baseball, Skating, ultimate fressbe, tennis, paddle tennis, fencing, boxing and water polo must prove they have been managing Sports Schools for one year. Entities in which any of the circumstances contemplated in art. 13.2 and 3 of Law 38/2003, General Subsidies. Those entities that are not up to date with their tax obligations with the Ciudad Real City Council, as well as their tax obligations and with Social Security, may not be beneficiaries. Those entities that, having previously received aid, have not proceeded to justify it, in accordance with the regulations of the corresponding call, may not be beneficiaries. SECOND. OBJECT. The purpose of these rules is to regulate the granting of subsidies for the development of the Municipal Sports Schools program for the 2026-2027 academic year to sports clubs and associations with fiscal domicile in Ciudad Real capital and its annexes. THIRD. REGULATORY BASES. The call will be published in the National Subsidies Database and an extract thereof in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real, in accordance with the procedure established in article 20.8.a) of the aforementioned General Subsidies Law, and in application of the principles of publicity, transparency, access to public information and good governance. ROOM. AMOUNT. The expense derived from this call for subsidies is multi-year in nature, being allocated to the budgetary years 2026 and 2027, with the following distribution of annuities: ·Fiscal year 2026: 150,000.00 euros. ·Fiscal year 2027: 250,000.00 euros. The authorization of the expenditure corresponding to the year 2027 is subject to the existence of adequate and sufficient credit in the General Budget of said year, in accordance with the provisions of article 174 of the Consolidated Text of the Law Regulating Local Finances, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5, and in Royal Decree 500/1990, of April 20, by which Chapter I of Title VI of the aforementioned Law on budgets is developed. Consequently, the recognition of the obligations and the payment of the annuity corresponding to the year 2027 will be conditional on the effective allocation of adequate and sufficient credit in the budget for said year, without the approval of this call generating any right to the receipt of said annuity as long as the aforementioned condition is not met. FIFTH. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS. The deadline for submitting applications will be TEN business days, counted from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real through the National Subsidies Database, as established in article 20 of Law 38/2003 General Subsidies.
