Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries. All natural persons registered in Llodio who meet each of the requirements demanded in the call may be beneficiaries of this call. Second. Purpose. The purpose of this call is to regulate, on a competitive basis, access to financial aid for the study of Basque and granted by the Llodio City Council, through its Linguistic Normalization Subarea, as it is understood that economic limitations cannot be an obstacle to the learning of this language. Third. Regulatory ordinance. This call will be regulated by the Municipal Ordinance Regulating Subsidies of the Laudio/Llodio City Council. It was published in the Official Gazette of the Historical Territory of Álava No. 28 dated March 10, 2021. Fourth. Amount. 34,000 euros for applications linked to the 2023/2024 academic year. An amount of 1,000 euros will also be reserved to be able to face possible claims, in the event that the credit of your subsidy line is exhausted. In any case, the sum of all scholarships for studying Basque received by a person in a calendar year may not exceed the amount of 1,250 euros. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline will begin on the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the BOTHA and will end on July 15, 2024.
