RULES AND CALL FOR THE GRANTING OF AID FOR ATHLETES PARTICIPATING IN THE OLYMPIC AND PARALYMPIC GAMES IN PARIS 2024

Official description of the call

FIRST.- PURPOSE OF THE CALL This call aims to establish the conditions, requirements and procedures for the granting of aid to athletes linked to the Pontevedra City Council who participate in the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. SECOND.- BENEFICIARIES The aid will be used to support and enable the participation of athletes linked to the Pontevedra City Council. at the Paris 2024 Games, rewarding the representation of the Pontevedra City Council with the national team in the different modalities of the XX.OO.e XX. PP. of Paris 2024. THIRD.- REGULATORY BASES General Ordinance of subsidies of the Pontevedra City Council approved by the Municipal Plenary on September 17, 2004, and published in the BOP of Pontevedra no. 190 on September 20, 2004. FOURTH.- BUDGET CREDIT, AMOUNT AND LIMITS OF THE SUBSIDY: A maximum total amount of €35,000.00 is allocated to finance these subsidies, which will be allocated to the budget application 01/3410/489.14 of the budget for the year 2024. The amount of the aid It will be the result of the distribution of the maximum credit of the call (€35,000.00) among the number of applicants declared as beneficiaries of the aid in the instruction phase, with a maximum amount per beneficiary of €5,000.00. The established amount may be increased by a maximum amount of €15,000.00 by resolution of the competent body, without the need for a new call, charged to the existing credit in the budget application 01.3410.226.02, after the credit modification file is processed and the corresponding inspection by the municipal intervention, in accordance with the provisions of article 58 of Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, which approves the LXS regulations. FIFTH.- DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS The application for the subsidy, along with the remaining documentation, will preferably be submitted by electronic means through the standardized form available at the electronic headquarters of the Pontevedra City Council (http://sede.pontevedra.gal). The deadline for submitting applications will begin counting from the day following the publication of the announcement of these bases in the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra and in the National Subsidies Base. The period will remain open until September 30, 2024.
