Extract from the Resolution of August 8, 2024, of the Department of Education, Culture, Universities and Employment, which calls for subsidies and financial allocations to carry out complementary activities aimed at students enrolled in special education centers or in special education units located in ordinary centers supported by public funds, for the year 2024. Beneficiaries Special education centers and special education units located in ordinary centers, supported with public funds from the Valencian Community, that have carried out complementary activities for students with special educational needs, enrolled in the respective centers, may apply for these subsidies and financial allocations. Second. Purpose The purpose of this resolution is to call, for the year 2024, on a competitive basis, subsidies and financial allocations for the implementation of complementary activities that favor the development of social skills necessary for the integration of students, with special educational needs, enrolled in special education centers or in special education units located in ordinary centers supported with public funds of the Valencian Community. Third. Regulatory bases Order 32/2016, of July 12, of the Department of Research, Culture and Sports, which approves the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies for carrying out complementary activities for students enrolled in special education centers or in special education units located in ordinary centers supported by public funds, published in the Official Gazette of the Valencian Community number 7829, of July 15, 2016. Fourth. Amount The financing of the amounts assigned to public educational centers, as extraordinary operating expenses, will be paid by chapter II of subprogram 422H00 of the Generalitat budget for the year 2024, for a maximum global amount of 100,000 euros. The financing of the amounts allocated to subsidized private teaching centers and centers owned by local corporations will be paid as a subsidy, under subsidy line S0290 of chapter IV of budget subprogram 422H00 of the Generalitat's budget for the year 2024, for a maximum global amount of 30,000 euros. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications will be 10 business days starting from the day following its publication in the DOGV.
