Official description of the call

1. Object and purpose of the subsidies The object of this call is to grant aid under a non-competitive competition regime for the opening of new commercial establishments framed within the plan to revitalize empty premises "one space, one opportunity", with the aim of promoting the implementation and consolidation of new economic activities of retail trade or services associated with the municipality. 2. Regulatory bases Approved by the Ordinary Plenary Session of the Palamós City Council on September 20, 2022 and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona on October 5, 2022. 3. Legal regime The granting of subsidies is processed under a non-competitive competition regime 4. Beneficiaries All natural and legal persons that meet the requirements established in base 5 of the bases of the call. 5. Objective criteria for granting the subsidy The subsidies/aid will be granted to those applicants who meet the following objective criteria: § Having started an economic activity of retail trade or similar services (base 5.a.2/5.b.2) during the period between January 1, 2024 and the date of publication of this call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona, in a ground floor premises in the area outlined in the annex to the call. § Have signed a rental contract for a commercial premises in the area defined in the annex to this call. § Present a budget of expenses to the specific instance where the amount requested is not less than 50% of the total expenses to be presented. Present a business project or business plan that adequately argues the viability of the project 6. Amount, eligible concepts and execution period a) The aid will correspond to 50% of the justified expenses with a maximum of 3,000 euros per applicant b) The eligible concepts will be the rental and supply expenses accrued during the eligible period attributable to the economic activity in the indicated commercial premises. c) The eligible period will be from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024. 7. Deadline for submitting the application The deadline for submitting applications will be 30 days from the publication of this call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona. 8. Documentation to be provided The following documentation must be attached to the subsidy application: 1.- Legal entities a. Photocopy of the DNI of the legal representative. b. Deed of incorporation or Statutes. c. Powers of representation and/or certificate issued by the Secretary of the entity that certifies the legal representation of the applicant. d. Photocopy of the entity's Tax Identification Number. and. Declaration responsible for meeting the requirements to be able to obtain beneficiary status in accordance with the standardized model. F. Declaration of commitment to comply with the conditions imposed for the granting of the subsidy, in accordance with the standardized model. g. Declaration of subsidies/aid or other income obtained for the same purpose and commitment to communicate those obtained in the future, in accordance with the standardized model. h. Original scanned document in PDF format of the rental agreement i. Original scanned document in PDF format of form 036 or 037 from the Tax Agency j. Bank transfer request duly stamped by the bank. k. CV of the entrepreneurial person or persons l. Project report that includes market study, marketing plan, organization of the people involved in the project, if applicable m. Economic and financial plan of the project 2.- Natural persons a. Photocopy of the DNI of the applicant and/or the legal representative. b. Declaration responsible for meeting the requirements to be able to obtain beneficiary status in accordance with the standardized model. c. Declaration of commitment to comply with the conditions imposed for the granting of the subsidy, in accordance with the standardized model. d. Declaration of subsidies/aid or other income obtained for the same purpose and commitment to communicate those obtained in the future, in accordance with the standardized model. and.
