CALL FOR GRANTS FOR CULTURAL ACTIVITIES (2024) Expte. 6488/2024 Subject: Approval of the call for subsidies for cultural activities (2024) BACKGROUND AND LEGAL FOUNDATIONS In the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra No. 125 of 06/29/18, the specific bases that will govern the granting of subsidies for cultural activities were published, approved in a plenary session held on 05/16/18. Taking into account the date of approval of the general budget for the year 2024 and the Strategic Subsidy Plan, in order to expedite the processing of the file and guarantee the committed budget execution, it is established that the request and justification of the subsidy must be submitted by the interested parties at the same time. OPERATIVE PART FIRST.- Approve the call for the granting of subsidies for cultural activities, in accordance with the specific bases approved in the plenary session of 05/16/18, with the text inserted below: "1. OBJECT The Nigrán City Council calls for the granting of subsidies with the objective of supporting the development of cultural programs or activities that complement the programming of municipal services and that have been carried out on a public basis in Nigrán during the year 2024. 2. REGULATIONS AND REGULATORY BASES This call will be governed by its specific bases, approved by this City Council in a plenary session on 05/16/18 with an extract published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra No. 125 of 06/29/18, and full text published on the electronic headquarters of the Nigrán City Council (http:\\nigran.sedelectronica.org section “Transparency Portal”, subsection “4. Aid and subsidies”) in addition to that provided for in Law 9/2007 of June 13 on Galician subsidies (LSG), Decree 11/2009, of January 8, which approves the regulation that develops said law, Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies and the Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, therefore its regulations are approved. 3. BENEFICIARIES Associations, or other non-profit associative entities, that comply with the provisions of article 10 of the LSG, are registered in the Municipal Registry of Associations of the City Council of Nigrán with a minimum age of six months from the date of the call, and that have their headquarters may apply for the subsidies that are the subject of this call. social in the municipality of Nigrán, with the capacity to carry out eligible activities. 4. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS AND JUSTIFICATION Applications for aid may be submitted during the period of fifteen business days counting from the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the Official Gazette of the Province, which will be communicated from the National Subsidies Database (BDNS) in the terms established in article 20.8 of the Law of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies. Applications will be submitted in accordance with that established in base 6 of the specific bases.
