Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries The municipality's sports entities, registered with the Catalan Sports Council and with registered office in Santa Cristina d'Aro, may apply for the grants covered by these bases. They will also have to be duly registered in the registry of municipal entities. Likewise, the entity that in the previous year has been a beneficiary of a subsidy in this specialty and has not justified it or expressly waived it within the established time, will remain excluded. When it has been sanctioned by a final resolution with the loss of the possibility of obtaining subsidies according to the General Subsidy Law (38/2003, of November 17), or the General Tax Law. Second. Purpose Provide support for projects to promote physical sports activity and competition (school and/or federated age). Collaborate in championships or official federated activities, provincial, regional, state and international. The subsidies covered by these bases are discretionary, voluntary and contingent, and are freely revocable and reducible at all times for the reasons provided for in current legislation. They do not generate any right to obtain other subsidies in subsequent years and cannot be claimed as precedent. Subsidies are awarded on a competitive basis, through the competition and single call system. The Sports Area reserves an amount to distribute or allocate to the improvement of Christian sports. Programmed activities and expenses derived from the organization of sporting events and activities or related to the promotion of sport will be eligible for subsidies. Specifically, those expenses/costs that are necessary for the execution of the project, those clearly linked to the activities planned therein and make possible the achievement of the objectives and purposes that promote the granting of the subsidy, those foreseen in the budget presented with the application and duly authorized in subsequent changes and that are carried out and/or correspond to the period of execution of the project. The eligible period will be from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024. In no case will the following be eligible expenses: Interest debited from bank accounts Interest, surcharges and administrative and criminal sanctions Expenses of judicial procedures Friendly activities or matches Expenses for alcoholic beverages that are not directly related to the activity to be subsidized. Regulatory bases This call will be governed by the specific regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies for the sports entities of Santa Cristina d'Aro for annual sports activities, year 2024, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona number 217 dated November 12, 2024, and on the notice board of the City Council. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications will be 10 business days from the day following the publication of the extract of the call to the BOP. Applications must be addressed to the Santa Cristina d'Aro City Council, with the official application model that can be obtained in the City Hall Entry Registry or filled out directly to the editable model included on the municipal website, together with the documentation requested in the call.
