SUBSIDIES TO DEFUR FOR THE ORGANIZATION OF CULTURAL, SPORTS AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF ZIGOITIA 2025

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries The following may be beneficiaries of these subsidies: - Non-profit entities, public or private (such as associations, groups, cultural, sports and/or social foundations) legally constituted and registered in the Municipal Registry of Associations of Zigoitia. - Likewise, non-profit entities whose scope of action is the municipality of Zigoitia may be beneficiaries of these subsidies, even if their registered office is not located in said municipality. These entities will be required to register in the General Registry of Associations of the Basque Country or in the Registry of Sports Entities of the Basque Country. - The Councils of the municipality of Zigoitia. Second. Purpose The purpose of the subsidy is to collaborate in the financing of expenses derived from the organization of cultural, sports and social activities that take place in the territorial area of ​​the municipality of Zigoitia, except those that, due to their nature and duly motivated, must be carried out outside the municipal area. Activities related to the areas of culture, Basque, leisure and sports will be eligible for subsidies, giving priority to programs that: Promote social well-being in the municipality of Zigoitia. Promote and favor the use of Basque. Promote the participation of the population. Promotion of the municipality. Promote culture and sports in general and native sports in particular. Promote programs or actions that guarantee equality and the breakdown of gender roles, and guarantee the participation of disadvantaged groups or groups at risk of exclusion. Promote the recovery of local traditions. Promote environmental awareness. Third. Regulatory bases The regulatory bases for the granting of these subsidies are contained in the specific Ordinance for the granting of subsidies to cover the organization of cultural, sports and social activities approved on October 17, 2022, and published in the Official Gazette of the Historical Territory of Álava No. 150, dated December 30, 2022. The procedure for granting these subsidies will be on a competitive basis, through the comparison of the applications submitted, in order to establish a priority among them in accordance with the evaluation criteria established in this call, awarding, with the limit set in the following point, those that have obtained the highest evaluation in application of the aforementioned criteria. Room. Amount of aid The financing of the aid granted as a result of the applications submitted in accordance with this call will be allocated to budget application 334,481,001 as a “subsidy for sociocultural activities” and budget application 341,481,000 as a “subsidy for sports activities” of the budget for the year 2025. The maximum total amount of aid to call will be the budget credit in force in budget application 334,481,001 and in budget application 341,481,000, in accordance with the budget for the year 2025, specifically, 20,000 and 10,000 euros respectively. The City Council may subsidize up to a maximum of 80 percent of the total cost of the eligible program. However, this City Council may provide special processing for certain programs that are of special municipal interest, which may reach up to 100 percent of the deficit resulting from the cost of the program. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications The maximum deadline for submitting applications together with the documentation referred to in point seven of the call for annual programs will be April 1, 2025. The maximum deadline for submitting applications for specific activities will be one month prior to the start of the scheduled activity, and always before October 31, 2025. The following documents must accompany the application: Official application provided by the City Council. Official form. One form must be completed per program (maximum four programs). Documentation accrediting the subsidy granting criteria defined in article 8 of the ordinance. Only in the case of non-profit entities whose registered office is outside the municipality of Zigoitia, photocopy of the statutes and documentation proving that they are legally constituted and registered.
