Specific call for subsidies for individual travel aid for the 2025/2026 school year

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries The beneficiaries of individual travel aid are the students who meet the following requirements: a) Be enrolled in an educational center in the La Selva region supported by public funds from Catalonia (second and third year of the first cycle of pre-school, in those schools owned by the Generalitat where it has been implemented, and any of the courses of the second cycle of pre-school education and compulsory education) and this complex some of the following criteria: - The school center is the one that corresponds to the school map (preschool and primary) or by affiliation (compulsory secondary) - The school is the closest to your home - The school has been proposed by the Department of Education. b) That they have their home more than 3 km from the school center and do not have a school or public passenger transport service within their reach, or it has the closest stop to the home more than 3 km away. Second. Purpose: The purpose of this call is the granting of individual travel aid (AID's) for socioeconomic and geographical needs, in accordance with the budget provision, for compulsory education students who must travel to a teaching center far from their residence. Third. Regulatory bases: This call will be governed by the regulatory bases published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona, number 74, dated April 16, 2024 Fourth. Amount: The global amount that the Regional Council will allocate to individual travel aid will not exceed the amount transferred for this concept by the Department of Education. Fifth. Presentation deadline: The Regional Council will publish the edict calling for aid in the Official Gazette of the Province (BOP) and on the e-board of the Regional Council. The application submission period will begin the day after its publication in the BOP and will remain open until December 31, 2025.
