CALL FOR THE AWARDING OF THE VILOBÍ D’ONYAR RESEARCH WORK AWARDS FOR THE 2024-2025 YEAR

Official description of the call

First.- Beneficiaries People who meet the following requirements may apply for the Vilobí d'Onyar Research Work Awards: a) Be in the 2nd year of Baccalaureate for the 2024-2025 academic year and be registered in the municipality of Vilobí d'Onyar, regardless of the population of the center where they carry out their studies. b) Present a research work corresponding to the 2024-2025 academic year. c) Present a research work in one of the categories established in these bases. d) Meet the requirements established in law 38/2003, general subsidy law, article 13. Second.- Object This award has the objective of enhancing the spirit of research among students enrolled in the municipality of Vilobí d'Onyar, making the citizens aware of the research work that is carried out; promote research in all areas of knowledge, as well as on topics related to the municipality of Vilobí d'Onyar, create a municipal fund for research work and collaborate with the educational community, students and their families to promote the school success of the boys and girls of Vilobí d'Onyar. Third.- Regulatory Bases Specific Regulatory Bases for the granting of prizes as a result of contests organized by the Vilobí d'Onyar City Council, approved by the Plenary Session on November 25, 2021 and published in the Official Gazette of the Province no. 232 dated December 3, 2021. Fourth.- Amount and eligible criteria The maximum budget that will be allocated this year 2025 for the granting of the 2025 research awards object of this call will be €300.00 and will be charged to application 1.920.48007 of the municipal budget for the year 2025. Two categories are established: A) Research work on local issues in the municipality of Vilobí d'Onyar (cultural, educational, artistic, historical, urban planning, environmental, etc.). B) Research works on general topics. Only works that have obtained a grade equal to or greater than 5 out of 10 from the corresponding educational center may be submitted. There will be a prize of €150 for each of the two categories. The jury may declare the awards void in the event that no works have been submitted or those submitted do not, in its opinion, reach sufficient quality and merit to be awarded. If a category is left empty or the works presented do not reach the minimum score, the prize may be awarded to the second place finisher in the other category. Fifth.- Deadline for submitting works The deadline for submitting applications will be 20 business days starting from the day following the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province. Sixth.- Applications and documentation to be provided The works will have to be presented to the Vilobí d’Onyar Town Hall in PDF format: - In person at the Town Hall offices on USB support. - By email to ajuntament@vilobidonyar.cat with the concept “Research Work Awards for the 2024-2025 course”. The works will be presented under a pseudonym and in such a way that the author cannot be identified. In a separate document, it is necessary to provide the name and surname, the title of the job, the study center, the category to which it is submitted (local or general), the telephone number and the contact email address (form 1). It is also necessary to attach a summary and a selection of keywords, in PDF format, with a maximum length of one page. The summary must state the objectives, results and conclusions of the research (form 2).
